This is my 5th Garmin, moving from Vivoactive HR, Vivoactive 3 & 4 and the Venu 2. The Venu 4 has the best display, better battery life and the most new features. The flashlight is very handy. The morning and evening report are great for personal accountability. The new timer app is a huge improvement, it saves common timers. Three things I miss: 1. The find my car app. I used this fairly often when parking in large parking lots 2. The swipe to Garmin pay. Having to enable pay via the buttons makes it less useful than my phone 3. Setting alarms from my phone app. You have to set alarms via the watch.

I bought this a month ago to better track my fitness journey, honestly looking for a device that provided the basics. Wow…blown away at all the features that are available and started to use more and more of these! Really pleased with the purchase, worth every penny!

I've been using this watch for ~ 1 month and it's a very good fitness watch. I like the morning and evening reports.The new speaker/call function makes it easy to rely just on the watch. It looks nice & sleek, perfect for work and for exercise as well (no need to change watches!). I love the motivation alerts as well as using the app and reviewing my workouts when I use the watch to record my activities.

The Venu 4 does so many things but could use a few refinements. Full Maps at this price point would be nice and the ECG function is entertaining more than useful. Afib is the only thing it checks for, I have a Ventricular arrhythmia I was hoping I could monitor with this. It is visible on the ECG report but Garmin says it is a “normal sinus rhythm” when it clearly is not.

Coming from an Instinct 2S, this was a great upgrade. Right from turning it on, the Venu 4 impressed me. The screen is SO vivid and easy to read. There is a learning curve coming from the 5-button mindset to the touch screen + 2 buttons, but it's not as bad as I feared. It's still all of the Garmin info you love, just in vivid color, sleeker and lighter weight, and easier to read in the dark or while moving. The improved GPS is really helping to record my indoor track runs with greater accuracy than the Instinct 2s ever could. The 41 mm size + small band fits me perfectly and I have truly tiny wrists (113 mm). If there are any cons, it's that Garmin gives you no set-up information - you gotta find the Venu 4 manual online and DIY it. Also, I've had to learn to use the screenlock while exercising, as my hoodie sleeve would change screens as I moved. My husband had a Garmin 255 model that he was happy with...until he saw my Venu 4. Now he has a Venu 4, too.

Love the look of the Venu 4, the screens are more vibrant and information filled. The look of the watch itself is beautiful. Love the full stainless look. That was the 1 thing I disliked about the Venu 3 was that you could not use other colors of bands with the cream casing. The Venu 4 allows for A LOT more flexibility when using different color watch bands.I had a difficult time setting up the sounds, which I like NONE. But maneuvering through YouTube I was able to locate what I needed to do. So far I love it and I think you will too!

The watch has a lot of great upgrades from the Venu 4. Rating it 4 stars because I lost the ability to reply back to text messages with simple premade text responses. I have an iPhone. The Bluetooth also disconnects from my phone when it's in the other side of the house, I never had that issue with the Venu 1. I shouldn't have to miss out on a few features just because something is an upgrade.

I bought this mostly to track my sleep and heart rate. It does so much more. I have it linked to my calorie counter and track my exercise routines including hiking, snowshoeing, weight lifting and just walking. It's an amazing tool that helps me stay on track.

I purchased this a month ago to replace a venue 2+ that I had for less than two years that died. So far, I am loving the new features. I just wish they had a better warranty. I was apprehensive on purchasing another gamin as I have had multiples in the past including the fenix 6,7 and eight, which all seem to last only about two years, I'm hoping this one has a longer lifespan. I will no longer wear it in the shower. Or swimming for that matter, hoping that prolongs its life. I do not however take this on hikes as I use my fenix for that and by not wearing that as a daily watch, I'm hoping that it lasts longer, especially considering the large price tag. I would love to give it a five star only holding out due to the anticipated life span.

A was gifted this watch for Christmas after dropping a few hints. My Venu 2 was beat up and needed replacing. The Venu 4 has more functionality. I measured cardio against a high end home rower and it was spot on. The stroke rate reading was very close. This watch has more features and is very customizable. Very happy with it!
