It makes a really fun and cozy nook during the day. I will sometimes drape a blanket over it and they will crawl in there to play or “read”. I love that it sits on the floor. I don't have to worry about my 18 month old rolling out or trying to get up and down on his own. It also comes with parts to use it as just a bed and have the top part stand on its own to be used as a play house. Which I think would be fun as he gets older. It did come slightly damaged. The material it's made out of doesn't take dings very well. However the non-toxic coating doesn't rub off and is easy to wipe down. The instructions that come with it are very detailed and made for a very quick and easy assembly. I had it all put together in less than 20 minutes which is a huge plus for busy moms like me. I was worried it would take up too much space as we still share our room with our toddler, but it fit perfectly in our room! Overall this is a great bed for littles and such a fun design.

It is a Montessori-designed bed frame that is low to the floor to ensure the safety of your child. Designed for children aged 15 months and older. The bed frame's whimsical house shape is visually appealing. Notably, the bed frame can be transformed into a play fort. You can easily add string lights or a sheet to the frame, allowing your child's imagination to flourish. The quality of the bed frame is reasonable and sturdy. The frame is constructed from pine, which initially released a stronger pine odor from the box opening. However, after a day or so, the pine scent dissipated. The frame I received features a white non-toxic finish, suitable for either gender. The assembly time for the bed frame was relatively short, taking approximately 45 minutes from start to finish. My toddler slept peacefully on the first night we assembled it and continues to sleep well in it.

Easy to put together and made from high quality materials. I found the instructions easy to follow and had it together in no time. A crib mattress fits well and this is such a cute frame! My toddler has loved her "tent" bed. Adding silks or lights to the frame makes it just that more magical! Before we were ready to move this into the bedroom, we had this in the play space and used it as a reading tent. This was magical. The design is so fun and unique—more like a little tent or playhouse than a typical bed—and my 2-year-old was instantly excited about it. He climbed right in, grabbed his stuffed animals, and clearly understood it was his cozy spot. I love that it sits low to the ground so he can get in and out all by himself. The wood feels very smooth and sturdy, and the pure white color matches his room perfectly, like it was custom-made for the space. The non-toxic paint I definitely appreciate since we try hard to avoid these things in our home. Assembly was refreshingly easy and parent-friendly, which honestly I was worried about and should not have been: all the parts were labeled, no extra tools needed, and my husband and I put it together in about 25 minutes (with our toddler “helping”). Our son wanted to drape a blanket on the top immediately after it was built and also take the blanket down to see the "construction" - he was definitely engaged with the build process and design of it. My husband was excited about the idea of installing Christmas lights (safely, of course) during the holiday season for our son to make memories! We use it as his bed for naps and as a little reading and play tent when we drape a blanket or bed sheet over the top. I sent a picture to my sisters, and they immediately asked where they could get one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off let me say that this toddler bed is very cute. It is mostly well put together but that's pretty much where my compliments end. My husband took about an hour and a half to build it and everything was going well until there was one piece that was not cooperating. You can see in the pictures that the screw would not screw in. My husband says it's because the little piece that you put in to hold it in place wasn't in the right place or something. Basically the predrilled holes where you put everything was perfect except for one. It otherwise feels very stable. I do love that it is made with non-toxic materials; that makes me feel like my baby is protected. The look and design is very nice, although as you can see in the pictures, my crib mattress doesn't fill it out. I was under the impression that the mattress would fit perfectly but it's too short on both sides. Maybe I was naive for thinking it would fit but I assumed that crib mattresses and toddler bed mattresses were the same. No biggie but lesson learned. The other thing that I don't love about the design is the fact that the mattress is directly on the floor. Though it does make it easier for him to get in and out of the bed, it doesn't seem very hygienic to me. I would have loved some wood slats or at the very least a few inches of space to separate the mattress from the floor. With all that being said it is a very cute bed, and I do intend to use it (even though my toddler doesn't seem to love it for naps but rather play time); it's definitely getting used. I set it up as a daybed in the playroom, and my 21-month-old daughter absolutely loves it. These days, she invites all her dolls to the bed to play hide-and-seek or just to lie down and relax. Assembling the bed was a breeze—it was simple enough that even my daughter could "help" me. Honestly, if it weren't for her help (haha), I could have finished it in 30 minutes. With her assistance, it took about 50 minutes total. I was pleasantly surprised that I could assemble it all by myself as a mom, and no extra tools were needed beyond what was provided. The manual wasn't complicated at all, and the ease of assembly was definitely my favorite part. If I had to mention some downsides, there was a rather strong chemical smell when I first opened the box, despite it being non-toxic paint. I might just be extra sensitive to smells, but thankfully, the odor completely disappeared by the next day. Also, perhaps because of the design, the edges are quite sharp. I wish the posts and any areas where a child might bump into were rounded or cylindrical. It's a bit sad to have to put safety bumpers on such a beautiful design. Additionally, when my daughter stands up in the corner, her foot sometimes gets stuck between the mattress and the railing. It's not enough to cause an injury, but I think a solid panel instead of slats might have prevented this issue. Overall, I am very happy with this product. The design is beautiful and makes the house feel so lovely—but most importantly, my daughter loves it so much. I think she'll enjoy turning it into her own little den as she gets older. It feels sturdy with a pretty simple build (really well organized parts and hardware) and easy to follow instructions, which we were able to complete in about an hour. I especially love that it has the flexibility to be used as an entire stylish floor bed or both a floor bed and a cute little house shaped play area to encourage imaginative play! The bright white coordinated beautifully with the rest of my nursery furniture and gratefully, has non-toxic coating which puts my mama heart at ease. The way this toddler bed fits right into the space where her crib was makes the transition of my growing girl much more comforting and easier. If you're a Montessori (or Montessori-inspired) mom who loves the freedom your toddler gets and the safety from a floor bed (just ensure your other furniture is anchored to the wall!), and doesn't want to compromise style, this is a beautiful choice. The house-style structure is clearly so exciting for my kids to see and it looks so inviting. However, we did realize we may have tried to transition her to the floor bed a little early, so I think we're going to pivot and convert the bed into a little house shaped play area (with the parts included) for now while she returns to the crib, and I really love that they offered that thoughtfulness and flexibility when creating the Little Seeds Trellis toddler floor bed. Overall, awesome product, I can't wait to see how my toddler grows into it and my future baby gets to grow into it. It adds such cute but minimalist whimsy to her bedroom and we LOVE it.
