[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed is a really awesome bed for littles! You get the perks of a Montessori style floor bed, but it's also super cute and well made. My favorite part about it (other than how much my kid loves it!) is that it can fit a crib mattress OR a full sized mattress. As a crib/toddler bed, the house part covers the entire mattress. If you want to use it with a full size mattress, you can use it as a headboard area. We were lucky to receive the bed through Stellar Product Testing Panel, but we may be buying another one for our other kid now! Things to keep in mind: there are no slats. When we switch to a full sized mattress in a few months, we are planning to add a very low bunk board or foundation to keep the mattress off the floor. Depending on where you live, that may not be an issue. We live in a very humid climate, so that's important for us. For a crib sized mattress it hasn't mattered at all because our mattress is super breathable and we can flip it really easily because it's smaller. Once moving to a full that would just be a pain, so that's our plan. The bed was easy to put together and really well packaged. We had zero dents or problems with ours when we unboxed it, and our mail man has a reputation for being tough on boxes! I put it together by myself, and that took about 45 minutes. With a second set of hands I bet you could do it in half an hour. There was some light off gassing the first 24 hours, but Little Seeds uses nontoxic paints so that didn't bother me and it quickly faded. It's very sturdy, but you don't need any tools to put it together. It comes with everything it needs. It's really solid once you get it together. The color is a true white which makes it easier to match in with other nursery decor and also keeps it more age neutral as kiddo gets older. We added a play silk to the top of ours to make a canopy and it's just the cutest little house! The only problem we have is that our older child is super jealous of toddler sister's bed, so it looks like we may need another one! On the plus side, it's also a little fort they can share.

It's low to the ground, which is perfect for toddlers exploring their surroundings and developing independence. I was impressed by how easy it was to put together. It arrived very compactly packed in a box that is smaller than I imagined it would be. This is a great advantage for moving the bed though, and for storing it once it is taken apart. The pine material makes it very lightweight. It was easy to build on my own and it wasn't difficult or heavy to lift and place individual pieces. It fits a standard toddler mattress and feels quite sturdy. Right away, my toddler was eager to build a fort, and we wrapped light scarves around the trellis for a cute look. It's fun to customize according to my toddler's wishes and keeps her busy. She also loves having the trellis covered as she feels extra secure and cozy inside the bed that way. The trellis makes it very unique and interactive, and really inspires a lot of imaginative play. As a mom of two toddlers and a child psychologist, I'm always evaluating products not just for safety and quality, but for how they support a child's development, independence, and sense of security. This Little Seeds Trellis Toddler Bed has exceeded my expectations in all of those areas. My 22-month-old recently transitioned to this bed, and the low-to-the-ground design immediately gave me peace of mind. If he rolls out or decides to climb down on his own, there isn't a risk for injury which is huge when you have an active, curious toddler who wants to explore. He loves being able to climb in and out independently, and he also uses the frame as part of his imaginative play - sometimes it's a cozy fort, sometimes a little house, and sometimes just his own special space. That kind of open-ended play is so valuable at this age. Assembly was one of the biggest pleasant surprises. The bed came with everything needed to put it together including a quality Allen wrench and I didn't need any extra tools at all. Every single piece was clearly marked with alphabetical stickers, which made it incredibly easy to lay everything out and organize before starting. The instructions were straightforward, and I was able to build the entire bed in about 30 minutes by myself without frustration. Once assembled, the bed feels solid, sturdy, and well-constructed. The paint finish is smooth and looks durable, and the materials feel much higher quality than I expected for a toddler. It doesn't wobble or creak, even when my toddler pulls on it or bounces around on the mattress. If I had to mention a small consideration, it would be that because the design is so open and playful, some toddlers might be tempted to treat it like a jungle gym - but honestly, that's also part of the charm and why my child loves it so much. The design is cute and unique, especially the trellis overhead, and the white finish feels classic and clean in our son's room. He was immediately excited about it, which made the transition out of the crib much easier. The bed feels solid and well made, and we appreciate that it uses non toxic materials. Being able to use his crib mattress was a big plus. Assembly was pretty simple and only took about 45 minutes, but knowing all the options for setup would have been helpful in the beginning. The frame sits directly on the ground, which makes it easy for our toddler to get in and out on his own, though tucking him in does require a bit of extra bending. Coming with short legs as an option to raise it off the ground a bit would have been great. Overall, it's a great toddler bed and our little guy loves it. This was one of the easiest furniture set ups I've ever put together. So much so that my toddler attempted (and did) help. I specifically put together the playhouse portion of this toddler bed but I absolutely love the fact that it has 3 use options; house-style floor bed or you can separate the house and bed and use the house as a play space and have the floor bed separate with their current crib mattress. My little one is currently using it as an elevated racetrack with his train underneath. Design-wise, I love the simplicity of materials. I recieved a white frame; I'm sure a few other natural colors (natural wood or gray) would be well received and in line with personal decor. The wood feels pretty solid but light. Overall, I would highly recommend to those looking for a floor bed. Lightweight yet solid materials and ease in assembly make for an amazing addition to any child's room or play space! A bonus for no offputting odors or smells from the materials when unboxing. My only gripe is in the directions. Since there is an option to use it as a play house and separate bed, directions should reflect that. As written, if you go the playhouse/floor bed separate route, the directions start from the point it is already fully assembled as 1 piece. I'm pretty handy and was able to backtrack to figure out which piece was needed for the play house, but for those who are not, it may be a little tricky. We did not have the right mattress, so we built the frame to see how my nieces would like it as a fort/ reading corner. When we finished building I thought it was so cute, as a bed frame I love the idea of a canopy for a kids bed. As a fort though, we put a sheet over the frame & some pillows to make it cozy & my nieces loved it! They spent a lot of time just sitting under the frame drawing & playing with their dolls. This was lovely as it gave my sister and my parents a break from playing with them. The only negative is that so could see my nieces arguing about who gets the bed frame, but that just means we would have to buy another one! I would definitely recommend this.

It was easy to put together…took my husband all of 15 minutes. I did notice that at first it had a very strong paint smell, but that faded within about an hour of having it out of the box and assembled. I wondered if maybe that was the non-toxic coating. My 2 year old took to it right away. We were able to put his current crib mattress in it so he felt completely comfortable which really helped with transition. It happened to arrive during an ice storm so we put it up in our bedroom and he slept on it that night when we lost power! Ripped the bandaid off! The older kids were jealous…they've been using it as a playhouse during the day. That's the best part - when he grows out of it, it will be perfect for that! I love a multi-use product.

One of my favorite features is the trellis-style triangle shape. Best of all, the bed sits low to the ground, which makes it incredibly easy for her to get in and out of independently. Eventually, I would love to add lights to the frame to make bedtime stories extra magical! It's the perfect blend of function, safety, and charm. It was very easy to assemble, took roughly 30-40 minutes. The instructions were pretty easy to understand, but having a qr code linked with a video of putting it together would really help even more! My son has been doing great with this one. He loves sleeping in it and taking his naps in it as well. I love that it sits to the floor so I don't have to worry about him falling off and getting hurt. Another thing we really like with this is, it can be turned into a little tent/playhouse during the day for him to play in also. I think creating covers to turn it into a tent would go great with this, but only once they're a certian age for safety reasons. Another thing, I would love to see this come in different designs. Other than that, this is a really great toddler bed to get. My son absolutely loves it!

We transitioned from crib to this and it was pretty easy. I liked the design of the bed making it feel like their own little house! The materials were of great quality and very sturdy. The set up process was fairly easy only made difficult because my toddler was eager to get in! It has a nontoxic coating which is very appreciated! Im not worried about it chipping paint and being hazardous. My toddler is a wild sleeper so i appreciate it being so low to the floor. My favorite thing thought is that they're able to crawl in and out and be comfortable in their own bed!
