[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the nutribullet chill ice cream maker. It's very easy to use. You make your mixture in the cups they provide. They provide two cups which is super nice so you can make different flavors. You freeze your mixture first and then use the machine to blend after. It's super quick and only takes about three minutes to blend. The machine is not very loud. It just sounds like a normal sounding blender. Once blended you can either eat right out of the cup or serve it into a dish. It makes 1 pint at a time so it's the perfect serving amount. If you don't eat it all at once you can refreeze and blend again. It comes out to be the perfect texture. I was impressed how smooth it was. It was super simple and easy to use. I recommend this product and seems very affordable.

The blade spins and reverses and moves up and down inside the cup. It makes a good size batch, enough for 2-3 people. The jar goes right in the freezer. All of this with the push of a button. Add your own fresh ingredients for a healthy delicious meal or snack.

It's not like traditional ice cream makers where you use salt and ice. For ice cream, I mixed all my ingredients and froze it for 24hrs then added it to the machine in its little pint it came with and let the machine churn it into super yummy almost soft serve consistency ice cream! I'll be trying sorbet next! I will say, it's VERY loud while making ice cream, but the cycle is only like 4 mins so not too bad to endure for a short time. The machine itself is sleek and modern. Overall I would recommend. Perfect for all sorts of summer treats!

However it really was a hassle to even figure out to how to use properly. It is not user friendly I'll say that. The instructions on how to use are somewhat simple to follow through. However, if the cup gets stuck or a specific feature is stuck. It is complicated to fix the issue there was explanation in the instructions. So I had to go out of my way to look it up and find assistance. There is not a power button to the machine so you have to make sure it completed the cycle before taking the cup out. Even unplugging and plugging back in won't work it remembers the last feature it was on. It does not take too much space on the counter nor is it too loud which is a plus. The cleaning of the cups is easy as well as the blades just be extra careful. Once you get the hang of it, it is more simpler to use and is convenient to make various different treats. I

I chose to make basic vanilla ice cream and I must admit this is the best ice cream I've had. You know it's healthy because you made it yourself and it's so easy!

The best part is you can prepare your ice cream in a way that best suits you and your dietary needs. I made a healthier version of ice cream by incorporating high-protein ingredients and they blended pretty well in the machine. The only drawback with all ice cream makers is the freezing step. This step is crucial. You will need to freeze the liquid portion the day prior, and the ingredients will need to be completely frozen and flat. Don't skip this step. The next day you can start your process and you're a step closer to a satisfying treat. The machine is very easy to understand. You choose the finish that you want your ice cream to be, and let the prompts run all the way through. You will know once it's complete. I can't wait to try all the options. The first finish I chose was gelato, and it was so creamy. I wasn't sure about this, but I don't think you can add/freeze cookie pieces into the machine. I believe you will have to add cookie crumbles after. I'm not sure if I am correct in that assessment since the product is new and I didn't want to risk any damage. That's why I took a star off. Besides that, the clean-up process was easy and it stored easily in my cabinet.

I love the versatility: you can make all kinds of things from ice-cream to smoothies, and customize them to your liking. The design is great, especially the suction mechanism on the bottom that keeps it in place and doesn't let it slide all over the counter when it's in the blending mode. Now we don't have to buy ice-cream because we can just make it at home! And it's very easy to clean.

Sorbet, gelato, ice cream, smoothie bowl, and frozen yogurt. On our first try we didn't follow any recipe. I just used whole milk, frozen blueberries, and vanilla protein powder for the base. A lot of their recipes include blending the base ingredients before freezing. We did two cycles on ice cream mode and added crushed Oreos in between cycles. The final product ended up being about half the amount I initially put in at the max line. No idea where the rest went. Lol! The machine is really loud! I think it's louder than the standard Nutribullet. So make sure to do this during the day when no one's sleeping! It comes with two containers with lids so you can prepare two at a time. The machine also has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from sliding around from the vibrations. Overall, great addition to your kitchen if you want to be able to control ingredients and still be able to enjoy cold desserts!

We used the ice cream seeing for a simple vanilla and it didn't disappoint. Very very noisy though. Almost unbearably so. Will continue to use - excited to try making a fruit sorbet with it.
