I enjoy my new watch coming off years of an IWatch my only issue is mustering thru YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit threads to learn features, change settings. That being said the GPS and health settings are stellar! I believe the V02 max is the closest you can come outside a drs office. As an older runner, I don't use coach settings as I don't need a device giving me advice but it will harsh you for taking long naps during the day. I do wish that one day there was a feature to log sporadic injury(ies) that would account to reduction in action for the day but, I do love this wearable

I had been happy with my Vivoactive 3 so I decided to upgrade to the Vivoactive 6. After owning the 6 for less than 2 weeks I noticed a big scratch on the watch face. I don't even know what I touched to cause it. If I knew the watch face glass was so soft, then I would have considered a different watch or at least a screen protector. The watch still works, but I am disappointed at the durability given the cost and my experience with the 3.

I bought this about a month ago and it's been problematic since day one. It constantly freezes, turns off, and has been riddled with problems. When it doesn't do those things it was good. I've exhausted all the things that garmin has told me to try and it still has the same problems. I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. Now the place that I have bought it from is dragging their feet and refusing to return it. So now I'm left with a watch that only works half the time. I've since bought the garmin forerunner 265 and it's been leaps and bounds better than the vivoactive 6. I'm just so disappointed to be out of the cash that I paid for it.

I bought this 3 weeks ago in order to replace my fitbit which had aged out. It took some getting used to as the step counter is not as sensitive as the fitbit which counts your every move. I've had to work a lot harder to get my 10 thousand steps in a day! There's also something called a Body Battery which I have yet to figure out. There's a lot more to this watch than I thought.

I have always had an Apple Watch and switching to garmin was about longevity between charges and ability to get the nighttime stats. I have enjoyed this but I have a feeling I'm missing some of the available cool stuff that puts this watch over the top. Still learning.

I've had my watch for almost a month and while I enjoy some of the health and tracking features, garmin could do a better job on design and layout. For the cost, the watch is very limited in features. The screen itself does not extend to the edge of the watch like the images make it seem giving less space to navigate with your finger. It also gives a cheap appearance. The battery life has been great though.

Great product as per usual from Garmin, only thing to consider is that it picked up a small scratch on the screen first time using it during an MTB crash. Not the fault of the watch itself but maybe could consider another Garmin model with more protection or try find a screen protector if this is a scenario you could foresee happening to you.

I have a famous brand watch that I like, but don't like the battery life. I decided to try the Garmin Vivoactive 6, and the battery life is incredible. I never let it go dead as I will charge it when I go in the hot tub, but I have used this for three days without charging, with plenty of battery life left. As far as the watch itself, I thought that it would not be up to par with my other watch, but I actually like it a lot more. I find the readings for pulse, respirations, and Pulse Ox are much more accurate on this. I also like many of the features better. It was nice having the phone on my other watch, but there was an additional monthly charge, and I rarely used it, and some say, the Vivoactive does not have an ECG, but I can tell you from working in the ER for more than 20 years, the watches are useless for this. Best watch ever.

I purchased the Vivoactive 6 to replace a very old Vivoactive 4. For me, as a user of an older model, the 6 is a case of one step forward, two steps back. The main plus of the 6 is the crisp, vibrant color display. There are also a few interesting new features, like a compass in the hiking app. They're nice, and I can see they could be potentially useful, but I doubt I'll really need them. However, for me, the added features are outweighed by the drawbacks. First, there's the size. The watch face is smaller than the 4. This means all the added features, while colorful, are more difficult to use. It also means that if you have standard straps which fit most models, they won't be usable on the Vivoactive 6. But the biggest drawback for me is the wallet. I purchased the 6 instead of a larger, slightly cheaper competitor specifically because I didn't want to lose the wallet feature. However, while the wallet was always a simple swipe away on the Vivoactive 4, it's now buried deep in a submenu on the 6. It's much less convenient, and now you can't even use the wallet if you're running an app. It's not unusual for me to stop during a bike ride to pick up a post-ride snack. It was so convenient to pay using the wallet even though the tracker was running. Now, that's not possible. It's a huge downside and makes me question my continued loyalty to Garmin.

I bought the vivo6 a month ago, love some of the new features that are available. Unfortunately one of the features that I used on my previous watch doesn't work - stair tracking. I have reported the problem through the website and unfortunately have gotten no response. Of course the website didn't provide confirmation it sent, so here I sit with a broken watch and no help.
