Just switched from my Apple watch to Garmin, vivoactive 6. Happy to report that I love the watch, particularly as i am a swimmer (4-5 times a week). The watch gives me data during my long swims (that's why I switched mostly) and the battery life is much, much better than the Apple Watch. I do not get 10 days from it, but mostly because I have haptic notification etc. from my iphone. The only negative: Garmin, please integrate data better with the Apple Health app. I installed Bevel to get some more data, but alas, HRV etc. aren't coming through.

This is my second Garmin watch. I love that it finds my phone, tracks sleep, connects to the app and has so many options. I have yet to use it for activities very much, so that is next as I go through rehab, but it gives me the above benefits that add value to life. .

I am age 65 and have used many types of fitness trackers. Last was a W**'s brand but I just didn't love it. I already use a Garmin Approach S70 for golf and started using it daily after giving up on the other brand but wanted something smaller/lighter. The Vivioactive 6 exceeded my expectations. It's lighter than the Approach so for a few days I thought I took it off - but it was there. The Garmin Connect App is one of the other reasons for loving this watch. Both Garmin watches sync effortlessly so as I go between watches on golf days with the data still in one spot. I can even add my golf data to GHIN from the Garmin Connect App... very convenient. I find the vivioactive to be small enough for everyday wear and can easily change bands for fashion. The battery life is excellent, and I charge it when playing golf with my other Garmin, so never seem to feel like I need to "stop" to charge it. Just did an hour of water aerobics with the watch and liked the data from the session. There are many tutorials "out there" to allow you resources to personalize your watch. I'm not done making modifications, but with very little effort selected my watch face and basic performance settings. The watch also prompts you for set up assistances. I am SOLD on the Garmin brand now between the two watches and two apps (I still use Garmin Golf).

Have had the watch for 1 month and love all the features. I have a 4 previous to this and love the sleep feature and details on the 6. Also love the new weight tracking process.

I got my Garmin after Google ruined Fitbit. The Vivoactive is pretty, but I wore it with my Fitbit on the other wrist for the first week or so, and the Garmin consistently picked up 1000-2000 fewer steps per day. Just now I walked across the room. Started with 5969 steps. After walking 15 steps it read 5944. After walking 15 more steps it read 5944. Wondering if I got a defective one.

I love my vivo active 6 Garmin! I have used a Fitbit for ten years and when I was on vacation it died. My husband suggested a Garmin. He just happens to have one too. Anyway, I loved it right out of the box! It came in record time and in great condition. I am not much of a tech person, but this was so easy to set up and get going. I learn something every day that I can apply to my health and fitness. It even tells me good morning and good evening every day. Such a nice touch. They thought of everything. Love my Garmin.

I love ❤️ my Garmin!!! The weight, the color, the fact that I do not have to pay anything additional (with my previous smartwatch I had to pay an extra line monthly)I bought it about one month ago and only question is, why I didn't buy it before?????😂😂
