Had to return. Great vacuum for hard floors but I could not even push it across my rooms with carpet no matter how hard I tried. The carpet is pretty thick and plush. I wish it had worked. I really wanted to get rid of my heavy canister tyke vacuum.

Was always skeptical of cordless, battery-powered vacuum cleaners. I thought they were under-powered junk. My son convinced me to try a Dyson V15 Detect. Boy was I wrong! To date, I've purchased 6 or 7. I've got 3 in use and have given the others as gifts. Greatest vacuum ever!!!

I bought my Dyson v15 is about 3 weeks ago. Love it for its mobility, suction is great and the laser visual I get but the reason I gave it 3 stars is that it does not pick up closely enough to baseboards and furniture legs as I would like and as my previous upright did. Also would love to see a lock on the trigger.

Well where do I start, I have purchased several Dyson stick vacuums, I thought the V12 was great still do but. I can't even begin to tell you how great this 15 is. It is quieter, more suction than all much improvements made. I love the new head. Having 2 options is so great when cleaning. I have only had it for a month and my house us so much more cleaner. I couldn't say enough other than worth the purchase. Only problem it's a little expensive and wish others could afford it so they can have that clean feeling I feel. Love it!

This is my 3rd Dyson V15 with 1 year. The first stopped charging, the second, the wheel broke off from the head unit (it was covered under Warranty so they replaced the entire vacuum). I really like the performance, it is hands down the best vacuum but I have been having very bad luck with this product. It seems I always get lemons.

The past few years I have used a cordless Dyson and would not be without it. This new Dyson V15 that I recenty purchased definately has great performance features, but is too powerful for my plush carpeting in part of the house. In order to use this vaccum to clean the carpet I have to pull it in one direction. It will not go back and forth on the carpet. After I purchased this one, I gave my old one to my daughter and wished I had it back. It was not as powerful, but would clean the thick carpet as well as the hardwood floors. I do like the charging station. It is a great way to organize the attachments and have them readily available. The LED roller definately shows up all the hairs and dust on the floor that can not be seen with the naked eye.

I bought the V15 detect like a month ago, my expectations were so high because Dyson is a very well known brand and I was reviewing different brands and models to see what was the best for me. My condo is hardwood floor, not very challenging from that point so I decided to go with Dyson. Unfortunately the battery is not the best AT ALL!!! 3 hours or so to fully charge and when in use it only last 40min….and maybe less. The other aspect was the suction power, I was expecting a powerful vacuum that when just 1 move you can pick all the dust, dirt and small things from the floor but it seems that you need to pass and pass and pass the vacuum several times to see the floor clean, small size debris on the floor are difficult to pick. So basically I'd say to anyone looking for a new device, think twice and maybe another brand would be better and cheaper.

Absolutely love our new vacuum. The heads are easy to change and the digital display is fun to see what you are picking up. The green light on the hardwood floors is great to use at night as you realize how much “stuff” is on your floor which really you don't see without the illumination.

Don't purchase this item if you have OCD. I didn't realize I suffer from this disorder until I started using the product. I now find how truly dirty my floors are and they require me to mop them at least weekly if not more often. I have become a slave to my dyson and my floor mop. I see floor dirt without even looking for it! My life is in turmoil. All the above is said in jest. The product is amazing and easy to assemble and use!

my favorite all time vacuum...love the light feature where you actually see the dust on the floor....I never imagined i had that must dust on regular basis as you can't see with the naked eye. I must have a leak somewhere which this vacuum has encouraged me to have our windows, doors checked for leakage.
