I bought the Dyson about 2 months ago & I love it. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was due to: - Slightly heavy. Didn't expect that, so I have to switch arms a lot but I think I am getting use to it. - The battery life isn't all that great. I can't even vacuum my whole upper floor (4 rooms with hallway) before it dies on me. And this is with a full charge!! So that part sucks, so if there is a way to get more battery life, it would be perfect.

I recently replaced my v11 Dyson (it finally stopped running (after many years of picking up dust, dirt and lots of pet hair) with the v15. First thing I noticed is that the suction was much stronger than the v11. I also love the green light that is on the floor attachment. Had no idea that there was so much stuff on the floor. The green light shows every speck of dirt, dust and pet hair and does not get all wrapped up on the rotating brushes. The only drawback is that I don't think the battery lasts quite as long as the v11. But my home is small and I only have carpet in one bedroom so I'm usually able to finish vacumning my house before needing to recharge. The collection cup is a bit smaller than the v11 but it's easy enough to empty so I don't mind.

We've only had our Dyson V15 for a week, but so far -- we love it! Great suction, lightweight, quiet. That green light will, hopefully, make me feel better about our cleaning. Right now it's pointing out so much dirt, I'm a bit horrified with what we've thought was clean! The old vacuum definitely needed replacing! I have one suggestion, however. I'd like a trigger guard of some kind that I can flip into place when needed, such as when I'm carrying the vacuum up stairs. I keep grasping the handle and accidentally activating the trigger. But like I said, we're loving this vacuum!

Maybe I should wait to see if I have something I don't like…but I love this machine!!! I have many Dyson products with no disappointments. My standup Dyson still works to this day!!! I had the V10 and thought it was great until I used the 15…WOW…my wood floors are shining like never before, the light on the head catches every bit of dirt and hair that you don't see, it has enough suction that the corners and edges are tidied right up!!! Between my shedding dog and my hair I love that the head does not get wound up in hair!!!! When I was shopping for another vac every store I went to said don't buy Dyson, they are a gimmick but don't let them sway you…I don't find it heavy at all but it is heavy enough that It reaches into the heavy pile carpet we just purchased, where the vaccum stores told me Dyson doesn't. It holds a lot of the picked up dust and allergens in the cup which is so easy to empty!! its not noisy at all like the other makes that I was told are better, I had no idea that I had missed areas with my older V10, but the floor head has this light that lets you see EVERYTHING, already I can feel the difference in the air in the house. I honestly can tell you that this machine is the most amazing one yet!!! You won' t be disappointed!!! So far I have been using it for 5 days and my battery is going strong!!!!

We purchased this vacuum on recommendation of our son-in-law who has been using this model for about a year. We are rhrilled with the results! We have lots of hard surface flooring on our main floor and the green light particle detector is a game changer. I had no idea there are so many specs of dirt on a seemingly clean floor! Our 2nd floor is primarily carpet and the carpet head cleans and gets deep. I have also used the soft dusting brush for larger flat surfaces and the stiff bruch for the pesky cold air returns. All work very well just ditching the long tube and going hand-held.

My husband got this for me. There are some up points but also some down points. Compared to my corded version this just doesn't have the same suction. It struggles with transitions from the hard wood to the carpet and it doesn't have enough battery charge to do my house without a 45min recharge. That being said it is so much lighter than the corded option and it makes cleaning the stairs so much simpler. The other downside is side is the smaller canister. I do have to empty multiple times that being said I have two very large dogs and a larger floor plan. All and all it's very nice

As the man of the house sweeping the floors has always been my job. I've never skimped on quality when purchasing a sweeper or any other tool. I've owned the best of the rest at one time or the other. The Dyson v15 detect is amazing. It makes sweeping the floors, rugs, and carpets a breeze. Not only does it sweep better but gets the job done in half the time. I have two large dogs and they shed a lot. The detect laser feature makes an easy job of the hardwood and tile. The main sweeper head is also fantastic. No going over and over the rugs and carpet, it gets it done in one pass saving time and effort. I could go on but again this is the best sweeper I've owned and highly recommend. Worth every penny spent.

I bought the V15 1 month ago and love it! 5 Stars on the suction, noise and filtration. The light feature is wonderful. When I purchased initially I was sure it was just a selling gimmick but no, it is the best idea. You really see where you need to aim that head to pass and not miss spots. Gave it 4 stars because ergonomically I find the motor up this high is heavy on the wrist and having to keep finger on the on switch. Battery life too could be better. After fully charged I have a small 5/12 and use it to dust too. Battery was empty after the kitchen hall and 2 bedrooms. When vacuuming must let go of the trigger whenever not using to clean to save on battery. A fast charging cable would ideal to help finish the job quickly. Lastly the motor being up high in the handle, when idil and it not being free standing, it tends to slide off to the side and fall if you aren't careful where you lean it. This will impact the motor's life or cause stress on plastic casing. For this price guys, it should come with a free standing storage rack for 2 reasons, not having to drill holes in your wall and the attachments are all neatly stored together with the unit.

I bought this a month ago and I'm so happy with it. The suction is amazing and more powerful than my last one. The battery life is more than enough for the daily and weekly cleaning that I put on it. The attachments are great and help make housework easier. Runs quietly without hurting my ears while I vacuum and dust with it.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this at first. My past experience with cordless vacuums was they did not have powerful suction. And bagless: no just no. But it said for pet hair and carpeting and hardwood floors so I was tempted into purchasing. I don't regret it for a moment. It is everything it says it does. I especially love the soft brush with the light . You can see everything ,all the little dust particles and pet fur on the floor that you are picking up. Easy to empty the canister without getting messy. And the brushes do not get hair tangled up in it. It is not heavy or cumbersome to carry . Swivels very easily. It gets right up close to baseboards. Highly recommend.
