We just received it. After having the ice maker in our fridge replaced 6 times, the manufacturer said they wouldn't replace it or fix it anymore. We needed a new icemaker. This has great reviews. After the first week we love it. ?

Makes ice fast. Large ice bucket. A little loud but bearable. Sometimes makes a loud noise after working roo hard (like a hot belt). We just unplug it and let it rest for a bit and then start it back up. Would gi e 4 stars if it weren't for the "belt" noise.

I love the nugget ice- Two things I do not like-- drain plug on the bottom of machine- awkward to drain the water- should be at the bottom of the side of it. Next thing- do not like to have to unplug the machine while not in use- I like to leave it on when not making ice.

So far we like it. Have a question! Is there any way to turn the power off and leave the plugin plugged in?

Ran a water vinegar combo to start and it made Ice in short order. Rinsed the unit out and started making nugget ice!

I absolutely hate I wasted money on this. It does NOT work at all. I had it plugged in overnight and still nothing.

The size is ok if you have a bigger countertop. It definitely takes longer than 8 minutes to make ice! Yes, it starts making ice in 8 minutes, but it will take a while to have enough for a glass. It’s very silent. Plus got that!

Brand new ice maker. Just waiting for it to make ice for the first time. Strong plastic smell when u open the lid. I’m thinking that is because it’s new and hoping it goes away.

We are on our third Chefman icemaker in 2 years. The two prior machines just stopped making ice-had the exact same problem. Very frustating.

I liked it but it stopped working and starting making a lot of noise I tried cleaning it but it didn’t work
