Poor sound for the brand

A more Christian sound, the integrated equalizer does not feel like it improves the sound On the contrary, it makes it dirty, that's why I decided to use it in flat and the bass doesn't reach Low frequency. They constantly turn on without taking them out of the case and I have to turn it off manually. What I expected most was a clear sound worthy of this brand. Maybe an update will improve everything

Everything I needed and more!

I've had a pair of these in the denim color for about three months, and they have been fantastic! They sound just as good as you'd expect from Sennheisers, clean and great resolution. The noise-canceling probably isn't as well performing as others, but you don't buy these for ANC, you buy them for the superior sound. Just for the sake of nitpicking, they're a little bass-heavy (a little lacking soundstage-wise, but that's compared to open-back HD660s), but it doesn't detract from the experience in the slightest. They feel great and premium build-wise, and I love the case that was included. The only issues I've had are the replaceable earpads getting a bit wrinkly, but that's just nitpicking. If you're looking for a fantastic, reliable, practical set you can lug around and use all day, every day, I'd definitely recommend them, you won't regret it!

Close to perfect, but room for improvement

First I will say say that for sound and comfort, this is the best wireless headset I've owned, but they are not perfect and have some bugs, preventing me from giving them a full 5 stars. First the good. The sound is far better than anything I've heard, wired out wireless, headphones or earbud. For reference, my music listening is CD quality audio files played on a Samsung Galaxy S21. For TV and movies, I have them connected to my LG OLED C Series. On the music side, the music is spacious and well controlled across the frequency range. It is also very detailed, regardless of genre (my music tastes have a very wide range). I've never heard bass likes this from anything other than a subwoofer I'm my home stereo system. I've heard big bass from headsets before, but what makes these so impressive is that the rich deep bass in no way overpowers the rest of the frequency range. The mids and highs remain present and detailed. If anything is lost, it's in the mid bass. If you like enormous amounts of punch in the mid bass, these are not for you. Speaking of mids, for me and most people I know, they can get harsh on certain vocals or instruments, especially as volume goes up. I've put on some of my “harshest” songs and the M4's make them smooth as silk. The last thing I want to say about sound quality is the separation of every instrument and vocal, leading to incredible detail and being able to hear and appreciate every aspect of the song. Truly impressive. Regarding comfort, these aren't the lightest headphones on the market, but for me they are the most comfortable. Definitely better than flagships from Bose and even Sony (own both). In the middle of good and bad, I'll include call quality and noise canceling. For phone calls in a quiet environment, M4's are the best headset I've used. I love the comfort call feature ( which you can turn off via the app) which among other things adds a little bit of reverb to the other person's voice, greatly increasing my ability to understand them. The problem is when you get into a noisy environment, much of that noise is passed on to the person on the other end making it distracting for them and a couple of times making it impossible to hear what I just said. Both the Bose and Sony do an excellent job and nearly eliminating all background noise. On the noise canceling, the M4's are both excellent and not so good. The full noise canceling is right up there with the best, but I have several issues here. First, I use headphones primarily in noisy environments, including low frequency engine rumble. While you can adjust the amount of ambient noise, unlike Sony and Bose, once you get to about 50% ambient sound, all noise is let in, including low frequency engine noise. The Bose are especially good at this. With full ambient sound, nearly all low frequency rumble is eliminated, but all the mid and highs still come through very naturally. Another issue I have is that there is toggle in the app to turn on or off “adaptive” noise canceling. In every test I've run, there is very little difference with it on or off, except that on always gives it maximum noise canceling. But what really annoys me is that when it is toggled off, the headphones still “adapt” to different noise canceling levels. In the same environment, how I position my head can dramatically change the noise canceling. I know of no other headset that does this and it can sometimes become really annoying. Toggling off adaptive should mean the level I set it at shouldn't change, but it does. Now for the bad. Two issues here and one honorable mention. The first is that I had to do a factory reset 6 times in the first 5 days of ownership because the headset went “dead” for lack of a better description. They wouldn't power on or off, respond to noise canceling adjustments or play any audio. While I haven't been able to determine the exact cause, I suspect it has something to do with the multi-point Bluetooth technology. A great feature, but in every instance but 1 when I had issues, I had been using them connected to both my phone and my TV. For the past few days, I have been manually toggling my connection source from the app and have not had any failures. Fortunately when this problem has happened, I've still been able to connect to the app and select factory reset. Of course then I have to re-pair everything again. The second bad thing on my list is the touch controls. The taps work great most, but not all of the time. The swipe gestures on the other hand don't work more often than they do. If I want to skip a song, I will usually have to swipe at least twice before it responds correctly. No touch control works 100% of the time and often it is operator error, but I'm pretty experienced with this and the swipe gestures are just not responding well. My honorable mention is the battery life. While it is far superior to anything on the market, I'm not getting anything close to 60 hours on a cha...

MY GOODNESS, THESE ARE AMAZING!!

I bought these back in October of 2024. I have been using these as my main headphone since then. I will admit, I do wish the Noise Cancellation was a little better, but I am more into sound quality than Noise Cancellation, and these get the job done! The sound quality on these make me speechless, and even to this day, I am speechless on how the sound quality is! I would recommend this headphone to people who don't focus on sound quality and don't care about Noise Cancellation that much. Overall, a 5/5 product!

Simple Excellence in a Headphones

Was debating between Momentum 4's and the XM6's — ended up going with this one since it has this an all-around user-friendliness in every category of headphones (sound, noise-canceling, build, etc.) + it was on sale for much cheaper than Sony's xm6. I went with the copper design to add a bit of “sophistication” to my headphones. Loved the design in person. It has excellent sound quality and ANC—love the equalizer feature and the other features that are available on the app (completely free!). Though the ANC & sound quality might not be preferred by those aiming for best ANC and/or sound quality — you wanna go for Sony's XM6 for ANC if you prefer as such. The earcups are leather-padded, which feel comfortable for hours on end. I wear glasses and have thick hair, so wearing these has felt nothing but great. However, I'd critique on one thing: my left earcup/left headphone makes a squeaky sound as it moves back n forth as I tilt my head, while my right one stays/sounds fine. I'd admit, after using them they have gotten quite dirty in regards to the fingerprints and marks. Plus the headband had gotten some brown stuff on it, but I dont know how, making it hard to clean but i cleaned it. Overall, excellent headphones for my needs!

Sweetness

Been running these through their paces, listening to so many songs that I am deeply familiar with from Alan Parsons Rush, Royksopp, and many others, and they have fulfilled everything I'd hope they'd be smooth, soothing, tight, bass, fall, rich, mids, and clean highs.. I just started wearing them doing everything around the house going places I just kind of left them on over the Christmas long weekend and usually listen close to max volume with no fatigue whatsoever .. ever since my Sennheiser 2s stopped working a year and a half or more ago I wanted to get a pair of wireless, and when these came out, I knew I had to have them!

Amazing investment when looking for headphones

Perchased this roughly a mouth or two ago and these headphones have been excellent. Amazing sound quality, controls are very simple and takes only roughly a weeks to get used to, the microphone is crystal clears and removes background noise with ease, great product. :)

GREAT HEADPHONES

I am overly happy with thins purchase. This is the first high end headphones I have splurged on. The sound is amazing and you can hear all sorts of parts to music I have not heard in the past. I recommend these and would buy another pair of these broke. I bought the white headphones and love the look of them as well. It is a very immersive experience.

Sennie So Solid!

'--Excellent sound. Love the SoundCheck feature in the app. --Touch controls responsive --New design is simple and the white/Grey color combo has an elegant aesthetic. --Battery life is yet to be fully tested but after using them an entire day I only lost 8% battery. And that was with ANC on for a good portion of the day. --Only gripe thus far is the comfort of the ear cups. Compared to the Momentum 3 these feel like a step back in comfort.'

Best Headphones Ever

The review title is not an exaggeration; these headphones are genuinely everything I was looking for. First of all, the 60-hour battery life is as advertised and is genuinely impressive. They are incredibly comfortable as well. I use these when working from home, and I don't experience any discomfort at all from the earcups or the headband after wearing them all day. The features that come with the Momentum 4 are fantastic. Adjustable ANC, adjustable EQ (8 Channel), touch controls on the right earcup for literally everything you need from music to adjusting the ANC, and call controls. The app is well-built and easy to navigate without being overcomplicated, and Firmware updates and Multi-Device functionality have been flawless. The on-head detection and automatic sleep functions are very nice to have as well. Now, of course, the most important part of any headphones, the sound quality. These headphones sound better than anything else I have ever used. The bass is punchy without being overpowering, and the bass boost feature and EQ settings allow you to really dial things in based on the music you are listening to. I mostly listen to EDM and Metal, and have different EQ settings for each. Everything from the vocals to the drums and guitar is crystal clear. I have heard sounds in songs that I never noticed before, from the weirdest of basslines to crazy guitar solos and the hardest drops, the Momentum 4 does not disappoint. The included hard case is color-matched to the headphones that you buy, holds a USB-C cable, airplane headphone adapter, and also automatically shuts them down after you set them in the case. The fit and finish on these headphones is fantastic, and the construction quality is fantastic. I have had my headphones for a couple of years now and have had 0 issues to speak of, and they hardly look any different from the day I got them.
