[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the OGX Bond Protein Heat Protect Spray for a few weeks now and honestly I’m impressed. It’s super lightweight, so it doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy or heavy like some other sprays do. I love that it protects up to 450°F I’ve been using it before blow-drying and straightening and my hair feels noticeably softer and stronger. It also smells really really nice, which is a bonus. I can tell it’s helping with damage control, especially on my ends.

Natural ingredients. Doesn't make your hair stiff or frizzy. Does it work??? I never know how to tell if a heat protection item does what it says --- just have to HOPE.

I feel like that really helps me get wider spots of my hair when I’m doing it myself. My mom has also been using this more than me, she definitely stole it but is already ready to buy more. I think this is our new go to. It gives a nice clean look without being oily or greasy looking and keeps our poofy hair tame for a few days.

The ingredients seem solid, with proteins that help protect and strengthen. I’ve been using it with my flat iron, and it does the job — my hair feels softer, and it definitely protects well from heat (effectiveness). For the price, I’d say it’s worth the money. Not a miracle, but a solid heat protectant I’d buy again.
