All of OGX's Bond Repair products are excellent, but the heat protectant spray is particularly good. I love that it not only protects my hair from heat before blow drying or styling, but also works at the cellular level to repair damage and improve the texture and shine of my hair. It also helps as a leave-in conditioner, which is perfect for people with dry, brittle hair. Functionally, the spray feature is fantastic and well engineered. It evenly coats hair without adding too much product at once. Highly recommend!

It smells amazing — clean and fresh without being overpowering — and it seems to be doing a good job protecting my hair from heat damage. I'm in my postpartum hair journey right now, so I'm taking all the precautions I can to keep my hair healthy, and this spray feels like a solid, affordable addition to my routine. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is that I wish it left my hair feeling a little smoother after styling, but overall it's definitely worth trying if you want an affordable heat protectant that smells great and does the job.

I've been using this mist before my blow dry and styling sessions, and I really appreciate how it protects my hair from heat up to 450°F while remaining lightweight and easy to apply. The fine mist sprays evenly, the scent is pleasant and clean, and my hair feels smoother and firmer after a few uses. On the flip side, if I get a little heavy handed the product can feel a bit coated on the strands (especially near the roots), so a light application is best.

Layers well with other products ( I use a leave in conditioner prior ). You may want to add something heavier for frizz / dryness if that’s your concern. Otherwise excellent for fine hair !! I started using this product recently and it has quickly become a favorite. It's very lightweight and doesn't leave any weird residue or weigh my hair down. It has a nice light pleasant scent. I love how it comes out in a continuous spray. Also comes with the lock function so I know it won't spray while if I have it packed in my purse or gym bag.

I have been searching for a heat protectant spray that I felt was truly good for so long and I am here to say that the OGX Bond Protein Repair heat protectant spray is THE one! I have long, thick and very dry hair so using a thermal protectant is important to keep my hair in good health. I have tried many and none of them really checked all the boxes for me - this OGX product checks them all. It is lightweight, not sticky at all, leaves no residue or oily feel and does a great job preventing damage from the heat appliances I use on a regular basis. I use it every time I heat style, which is nearly every day, and there is absolutely no buildup of product in my hair. In the past, I would buy a different heat protectant product every time I used one up, trying to find one that I liked, but now, I have re-purchased this exact product multiple times so that is most definitely saying something!

After using this product, my hair dried very quickly, and knowing that it was protected from heat damage, it did not make my hair feel greasy or a very heavy. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for some type of heat protection, but also something to help smooth out your hair.

I have fine, straight hair. I love using this product prior to blow drying my hair, and love the scent of this product. One bottle lasts me a while.
