I have been searching for a heat protectant spray that I felt was truly good for so long and I am here to say that the OGX Bond Protein Repair heat protectant spray is THE one! I have long, thick and very dry hair so using a thermal protectant is important to keep my hair in good health. I have tried many and none of them really checked all the boxes for me - this OGX product checks them all. It is lightweight, not sticky at all, leaves no residue or oily feel and does a great job preventing damage from the heat appliances I use on a regular basis. I use it every time I heat style, which is nearly every day, and there is absolutely no buildup of product in my hair. In the past, I would buy a different heat protectant product every time I used one up, trying to find one that I liked, but now, I have re-purchased this exact product multiple times so that is most definitely saying something!

I prefer one that has a little bit of conditioning factors in it. This one doesn't seem to or at least maybe my hair type didn't go with it. It does have a light smell nothing that I think would bother too many people unless you're super sensitive to smell smells and it did make my hair look good when I straightened it as well as to go some of the flyaways.

The OGX Bond Protein Repair 450°F Heat Protect Spray has become a regular part of my routine whenever I use heat on my hair. I appreciate how lightweight the formula is and how evenly it sprays without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling. However, after using it, my hair doesn't feel especially soft, and it doesn't really help control my frizz, which was something I was hoping for.
