After making drinks, the machine runs through cleaning cycles which is fantastic. There is a screen that takes you through the steps of making the drink you desire. Overall, this espresso machine is very easy and user friendly. I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love this machine, everything is automated meaning cleaning, brewing, custom coffee etc. I compare this machine with my breville one and honestly I prefer this one. The first time I got this in the mail I got a broken water tank but with Delonghi's customer care and support I was able to get another water tank shipped. It was a very smooth process. The best thing about this machine is that you will always get a perfect shot of espresso.

The way that you're able to customize drinks and the easy to use interface makes brewing a breeze. So much so, that even our preschooler enjoys making us our morning joe. Although a little bulky, it has so many features that make up for it. The built-in coffee grinder and milk carafe really put our previous coffee makers to shame. Loving the frothy cappuccinos and lattés that are ready in seconds. The attention to detail with the water softener and built-in rinsing before each use are also cool features.

That being said, this won't be for everyone. If you're super serious about making espresso and like it done in a very certain way and want complete control of the process, I don't know that you'll like this. But, if you're like me and want a coffee shop quality drink without much fuss, it's literally perfect. It's far and away the easiest to use espresso machine I have ever encountered, you just use the touch screen to select what drink you want, and what size and the machine pretty much does everything else for you.

Set up was super easy - everything was on the screen. The screen went through the steps step by step. It makes decent coffee and grinds whole beans and makes it quickly, within 1-3 minutes. The attached milk crema/frother was easy to use and install. Overall, it's our go to machine to make coffee!
