It literally has every option you could possibly want, and all you have to do is touch a button - iced, hot, strong, mild, latte, cappuccino, whole beans, grounds, etc… I was intimated by the setup since it's such a large and complex looking machine but it is ready to plug in straight out of the box and you can begin using! On top of that no intense cleaning process like a standard espresso machine! Love waking up and looking forward to making my coffee every morning!

My only gripe was the setup. Make sure to have cups under the nozzles for initial setup because the on screen instructions don't give a long enough warning before shooting out a bunch of water from the initial cleaning. It feels like having my own personal barista, allowing me to experiment with various settings and create delectable coffee flavors. To top it off, it comes with a complimentary coffee beans packet that boasts an exceptional flavor. At first glance, the machine might appear intricate, but it's surprisingly straightforward to set up. It includes an instruction manual and DeLonghi's signature coffee beans. For those new to this type of machine, here are some crucial points to keep in mind: 1. Before using the coffee maker, thoroughly rinse all parts that will come into contact with water, including the water tank and milk carafe, using drinking water. 2. Switch on the machine, and it will guide you through a few simple steps. Dip the provided water hardness strip in a cup of drinking water for two seconds. After about a minute, pink squares will appear, indicating the water hardness level. Enter the result when prompted by the machine. If your water is hard, it suggests inserting the provided water filter into the water tank. 3. Whenever you switch on or off the coffee maker, it will execute a quick hot cycle to heat and clean the components. Ensure you place a tray beneath the coffee nozzle to catch any dripping water. 4. After brewing your coffee, the machine will run a rinse cycle to clean the milk carafe and coffee nozzle. 5. The machine features separate compartments for loading coffee beans and powder. 6. I'm sure the serving sizes are standard size but it seems quite small and there's a very short window to push the 'more' button before it times out and you have to use more coffee - which is unnecessary and wasteful IMHO. I'm still trying to figure out how to 'memorize' my coffee order {inc size} but once I do that we'll me in the money...and for the price of the machine it better be able to. Overall, it's a nice machine with a lot of functions...just not my main daily function. Hopefully I can figure it out!

It can also use whole roasted beans or ground coffee. I like how I can adjust the amount and the strength of coffee I want. The milk frother is simple to disassemble and clean. It's great that both dishwasher safe and unsafe components are labeled. I would like for the machine to come with a container to collect purges and rinses. I've been using a small bowl until I purchase a separate container. The initial priming of the tubes and pumps is quite loud and jarring. It's normal and will disappear after a couple uses.

It's a quick and easy way to make coffee, similar to other auto espresso machines. It also comes with a water filter and a test strip. The touch screen has 13 pre-set recipes, but you can customize them to suit your preferences. The size of the machine is perfect for my countertop, and it looks great in silver shining.

Everything is pretty automated. It does not care for regular coffee and can only do one regular cup of coffee at a time but if you're making espresso, you can load up on fresh beans. You can change how fine the grind is & it holds a pretty good amount of beans. I LOVE having fresh espresso beans in this machine because every time I walk by it, I get a nice whiff of beans. Yum!! It's super easy to use & the screen walks you through everything for cleaning or for the wide variety of espresso inspired drinks you can make. I also really like the milk frothing capability. I use heavy cream and it heats up without issue. It's so efficient & user friendly. Would definitely recommend.

This machine offers many options for different kind of drinks. The milk frother is so nice and is my favorite feature.I like the self cleaning rinse it does every cycle to ensure cleanliness for the next time you use it. This machine does make quite a loud noise when grinding the coffee bean and hearing up but other than that this machine is great.

Product Design 9.5/10: The machine itself is compact, sleek, and thoughtfully designed. I love that the water reservoir is horizontal and easy to slide out and fill. The water filter is a bonus I wasn't expecting and really nice to not have to descale often. The milk jug is compact and I really like that it can be completely closed by an easy switch on the cap. I LOVE that the milk spout is auto cleaned after every cup is made. I don't dislike the bean hopper, but I would prefer more space between the grinder and bean hopper so there is less chance of spillage when pouring beans in. The touch interface is the perfect level of responsiveness. Functionality/Performance 10/10: Regardless of what drink you choose, this makes the perfect cup! As a non-dairy milk drinker, a lot of at home espresso machines don't get non-dairy milk frothy, but this does, perfectly! It is ACTUALLY quiet for an espresso machine and I am very pleased that it doesn't beep or make annoying noises. I like that you can also save selections to a profile and LOVE that the machine auto cleans before auto turning off. Overall, I highly recommend and recommend over the twice as expensive Miele!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is AMAZING! It's going to make my nespresso obsolete. The machine is smart, very easy to set up, and does clean cycles in between uses. It tells you when to change and clean iteams, like the filter, tanks, etc. Drinks are customizable by size and espresso level. The machine is also much quieter when grinding and brewing than others I've had. All in all, this is a 10/10 for me.
