We love the stainless steel option, but our 4YO daughter is not able to open and close this box. It's also quite large and heavy. On the positive side, it does hold a lot of eats, and the removable cup is a nice bonus compartment. Though it says that this Bentgo box is intended for children ages 3 and up, it might be better for older children.

These stainless steel lunch boxes are great! We've been using them for a month now and they don't leak (even with purées or a little bit of liquid from fruit) and they are the perfect portion size for my kids' lunches. I prefer using stainless steel over plastic (or glass for my kids since it won't break) and feel good about sending them to school with these. Plus, with popping them in the refrigerator before and after preparing them, they stay nice and cold. My daughter finds it fun to help prep her lunches with these boxes as well. Bentgo has exceptional customer service as well!

I bought this unit for my granddaughter for her picnic outings. She has enjoyed the way the food has stayed fresh during the day. She enjoys packing her favorite food items in the unit because they always taste good. She takes PBJ sandwiches, fresh fruit. Or cold cuts.

I purchased the Bentgo Kids Stainless as an additional option for school/camp lunches. It picks easily into a standard size lunch box, is easy to clean and I find that it hold less odor from food than the plastic Bentgo option. I also love that the stainless version is adult/child friendly. An adult can easily take this to an office lunch and not feel like they have a childish lunchbox, but it's also great for school! We will definitely be adding more to our collection!

We have used Bentgo lunch boxes for all our kids and really like them. This one is great for our 4 year old. It is easy for her to open and self serve but also sturdy. We have not had any leaks and it does a good job of keeping food in separate compartments. This is our favorite kid lunch box.

I bought 2 of these stainless steel Leak Resistant boxes for my 7 year old son and 9 year old daughter in 2022. As a mom, it make packing healthy snacks and lunches easy on a daily basis and I can separate the snacks from the lunches easily. For my kids, it is leak proof, easy to handle, not heavy. My kids do complain that it does not keep their food warm (its room temperature) when its lunch time at school. I would love to hear of other Bentgo boxes or recommendations on keeping foods warm in our current Bentgo Boxes. I would recommend this product to a friend and family members.

We have had multiple bentgo boxes for our kids over the years and use them every day for lunches. The one time we had an issue (the latch wouldn't stick) the customer service was awesome and got it replaced immediately. Easy to clean, durable (our kids drop them all the time), and perfect size.

A leak-resistant stainless steel and silicone lunch box is a great idea, but after just one week of use, the exterior paint started peeling. I really wanted to like this lunch box, but I think it would be better without the paint and just have a naked stainless steel exterior.

My 4yo has been using her Bentgo stainless steel lunchbox for ~1.5years and we are very happy with this purchase. I've also recommended this lunchbox to my mom friends and my daughter's classmates, and they too have been happy with their purchases. Pros: - It is a great *leakproof* stainless steel lunchbox (although we really haven't tested with anything super liquidy or soupy). - The lunchbox is durable -- we have not had any paint issues with the grey one. I avoided the colored ones because of the paint issues that I've seen in other reviews. There is a small dent on the lid but it doesn't impact the functionality and we covered it with a waterproof sticker. For what it's worth, we only handwash this lunchbox. - I like the option for 3-4 compartments (as opposed to other lunchboxes with multiple compartments). Each compartment holds a good amount of food. - Great customer service -- responded quickly to address the back hinge coming off. Cons: - The lunchbox is a bit heavy -- but I think this comes with any stainless steel containers. - The front latches were a bit challenging for small hands, but at 4yo, my daughter is able to open and close this by herself. (A friend said that the newer version of this container is easier to open though.) - One of the back hinge came off -- but customer service was great and responded quickly to address the issue (I hope the newer version also addresses this). Overall, I recommend this lunchbox. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

My son (6) loves this lunchbox. I love it too! I hand wash it everyday because it cleans up so easily, but I know it's dishwasher safe too. It's a good size. It fits a sandwich perfectly along with everything else I want him to have. It has nice compartment sizes. We have the stainless steel option with no color on the top. Would definitely recommend :)
