[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Galaxy Wstch 9 is my third Samsung Watch. I chose this one to replace my Galaxy Watch. I preferred the bezel operation of my previous watch. I also preferred the ability to use 3rd party watchbands - the watch 9 has a unique proprietary connection. The charger is awkward, too. The cord is not long enough, and the cord is not replaceable. There is a limited number of watch faces available, hopefully this will improve with time.

With the new watch having better battery life, and great price, including mikitary discount, i am super happy with the new watch. The added blood pressure feature makes this an awesome health monitoring smartwatch.

Tracking all aspects of my health are important. I am impressed with the blood pressure monitoring. The larger battery is definitely a plus, it has an endurance of just over a day in my experience. I have noticed that the charging takes longer because of the larger battery. Overall it is a great warch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately after several years of good service, my Active2 watch face decided to separate from the bezel. Rather than repairing it, I chose to purchase the new Watch9. It has been less than a week of use so far. Still getting used to how large it looks on my wrist due to the squircle bezel. Battery life is a bit better than I was expecting based on reviews - can last probably 36hrs but I use Sleep Mode at night and the display is set to only turn on briefly with wakeup button push or wrist flick. And it will depend on how much activity tracking is done during the day. The display is bright and clear, although I never had complaints about the Active2 display. For what I have been using the watch for, I wouldn't say I notice much difference in performance, but I am a basic user. Not having seen any of the band choices in person, I chose the Misty band which is OK but nothing special. My wrist gets a bit sweaty under it. Disappointed that I can't use any of my old watchbands (knew before ordering) and I'm sure I will have to buy some other styles. Have not used the linked calling capability yet, so I can't comment on call quality. Hoping this watch lasts at least as long as the Active2 did without issues!

Somehow, the watch band came apart from the watch face and it was forever lost. I chose to wait to buy a new Galaxy watch 9 and I signed up for the pre-sale event. I really like this new watch due to the ability to choose the band I wanted, the multiple features, and the low profile. I'm so happy I waited but my wrist sure was lonely for a couple of months!

It has a premium design, feels comfortable to wear, and the display is bright, sharp, and easy to read. Step tracking, workout monitoring, sleep tracking, and other wellness features make it easy to keep track of daily activity and stay motivated to be more active. Needless to say... it did not disappoint! Literally night and day. So much smoother and fluid, in addition to a much longer battery life. I'd highly recommend the upgrade, especially for those that have been behind for a while.
