[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my Watch 6 to a Watch 9 because I was experiencing a short battery life with my old watch and it would constantly disconnect from my phone despite being right next to it. I've only ever owned Samsung Smart watches. I was frustrated to discover upon receiving the watch that 1) the old watch chargers aren't compatible. 2) the old watch straps aren't compatible. I've since had to purchase an adapter so I can use all of the other types of watch straps I've purchased over the years for my past watches. I've worn the 9 for a few days now. I'm not super impressed with battery life. I'm not sure the extra silver area around the watch face is necessary and miss just the round size/shape of the 6. It has done a better job of staying connected to my phone. The set up process was frustrating and had to restart it several times. I like the watch strap that I got with it (misty sport band) and I like the ability to take my blood pressure with the watch. The different watch face options are nice. If Samsung Wallet is installed, you must have a pin set on the watch, which is a nice safety feature but not something I'm going to use. TBD if I end up liking this better than I did with the 6 when it came out. I know the new features are supposed to be great but I hesitate to introduce AI and all that it would have access to so I am not utilizing those functions as of now.

I chose it for the technology and features, but the convenience it brings to my everyday life is what makes me enjoy wearing it.

Overall, this smartwatch is very easy to use and offers excellent tools for daily health tracking. The health features through Samsung Health are the best part of the device. I really enjoy watching my VO2 max scores to see my fitness levels. The displayed cardio zones are also great for training because they help me stay in the right zone during workouts. I frequently use the sleep, energy, and cardio load options. These tools keep me informed on what my body is doing so I can maintain my health and energy. The advanced heart features are a bit mixed. The EKG function works fine, but it is not really useful for my daily routine right now. Additionally, the blood pressure trend feature is iffy. Some days the readings are completely on point, but other days the numbers are all over the place. Visually, the watch face is very similar to the Watch8. It is easily adjustable and very simple to change when you want a new look. It is a great health companion despite a few inconsistent tracking features.

I chose this Galaxy Watch 9 mainly because it was a good pair with my current Samsung smartphone, which is has allowed me to unlock and still discovering its full potential. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and this will most likely change my day to day in a positive manner.

I've had it nearly a week in a very satisfied with my new watch. It is definitely faster and is taking some getting used to you as to the sensitivity of taps and gestures. It is definitely much faster in processing things such as analyzing the previous nights sleep. I like the look and the choices of watch faces available. I had my classic 6 a little over 2 years and I'm sure this will last me at least as long.

The 9 has been the most comfortable to wear throughout the day and night. The visual and performance of the 7 was already great but the comfort level especially during sleeping wasn't as good as I would have liked. With the 9 it's easy to forget that it's even there. Well done Samsung! Comfort is definitely an understated enhancement to any product and I am very happy with this one.

I traded in my Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 for the watch 9 and I love it. Everything is excellent, from the battery to the functionality to the comfort to the durability to the overall performance to it is a really pretty watch. I highly highly recommend this watch.

I'm definitely experiencing battery problems with the 9. AOD is off, continuous health monitoring is off, NFC is off. And still, it loses about 70% of its charge over 20 hours, even on days when I'm just sitting at home. I went for an hour-long walk the other day and its charge went from 80% to 5%!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my older Samsung Galaxy Watch5 to the new Watch9, and I'm so glad that I did! It is beautiful and much more comfortable than my old one. The biometrics seem very responsive and accurate. I chose the new Misty band in yellow, and it is very comfortable yet secure, though I should have purchased the larger size (please read the measurements). The interface is easy and responsive, and I LOVE the numerous face options and all of the beautiful color options for the faces.
