The innovations in the razor blade design create an excellent shave much closer than with other Gillette razors. However, there is no texture on the surface of the outer half of the handle so that it becomes very slippery as soon as it becomes wet even though when dry it is easy to hold.

I've had a beard for about a year, so when I needed to clean up, Gillette was the first brand I knew I could trust. This razor did not disappoint! It left me beard-less and smooth. The base is sturdy and looks great on any countertop. The razor feels good in the hand and is super sharp. Would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you notice about this razor is how sturdy it is. The package is heavy, and I mean that in a good way. It feels like an old fashioned stainless steel razor and doesn't drag on my face. And the stand is a really nice feature. I hate having to put my razor on the sink. The razor stays clean and dry.

I made this purchase 4 days ago. The stand for the razor is a joke. I put it in the shower with the razor, and the razor fell out. (The grip on the razor's handle is frail.) The blade fell out. Unlike other Gillette blades, this one is inserted into the razor by holding the blade cartridge with your fingers. And the cuts on my index finger prove the stupidity of doing away with the current insertion technique. The box only contains one cartridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor for Men for about two weeks and it is great. It has the normal feature we have come to love from Gillette; multiple blades, flexible head to work with the contours of your face and sleek design. However, this is the first razor I have used with the exfoliating feature and I don't plan to go back. The bar leaves your face felling smoother and cleaner than a normal shave. I am also a fan of the stand base. It is going to be a tough sell to keep this away from my wife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It shaves as well as any Gillette razor, which is good. Not showing results; I try not to post my face but trust me it's about like my Mach 3. It feels a little softer and more comfortable, and it's probably because it can bend forward and back as well as side to side. Comes with a neat little stand that's better than the Mach 3 lay down stand I have been using for years. I'm not sure a better way to describe it. Imagine your Gillette razor...but gentle. That's good. I don't know another razor that goes side to side like this. It's very useful for necklines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GilletteLabs Razor is GREAT. The cut is very smooth and having the exfoliating bar makes it even better. The magnetic base works wonderful by keeping the razor upright and allowing the water to come off, keeping it nice and dry.
