The blade itself is par for the course, however; not bad, but it's really no better than other Gillette heads. The exfoliating bar does not make a noticeable difference in my experience. Unfortunate, then, that this base will not fit other Gillette blades, as you're locked in to a higher replacement cost.

This Gillette razor has lasted me 2 weeks and still has not gone dull. 1 cartridge will get me about 10-12 shaves, which is beyond my expectations. The exfoliating bar is a plus and keeps the skin nice and moisturized also lubricated. I will only be using this Gillette razor going forward, I am sold on this product!

It doesn't clog easy, the blades seem to last longer and the handle is comfortable to hold. It has an exfoliating bar that's there to help with unseen dirt for the smoothest shave. It comes with a very nice, magnetic stand for storing. Give it a try.

Blades also last for a while, have been using for about 2 weeks without much decrease in quality of shave. Would continue to use for sure.
