[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade to the Watch 9 from a Watch 7 to hopefully benefit from the more efficient processor and the same battery size. I would think that this would drastically improve the battery life. However, I'm getting around 1.5 days with the always-on display turned off. I'm hoping that it will improve with battery optimization updates, but right now it seems a bit underwhelming. Everything else works great though. Stable connection, great screen, and I love all the Samsung Health benefits.

The Galaxy Watch 9 refines rather than reinvents the wheel, but it executes the daily basics brilliantly. Battery life is no longer a source of daily anxiety—it easily powers through a 24-hour cycle of workout tracking, notifications, and sleep monitoring with room to spare. If you're coming from an older generation, the jump in efficiency, display quality, and speed makes it a well-worth upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch 9 44mm is the first smartwatch I've ever owned, and so far I'm really enjoying it. I chose this watch because of the improved battery life, GPS tracking, exercise features, and the ability to raise my wrist and talk to Gemini. One of my favorite features is the vibrating alarm. I can wake up in the morning without a loud alarm waking up my partner, which is a small feature that makes a big difference. Most importantly, having LTE gives me the freedom to go out and exercise without bringing my phone. I can listen to my music, track my workouts and GPS, and make or receive calls right from my watch. It's really nice being able to leave my phone behind and still stay connected. I'm still learning everything this watch can do, but for my first smartwatch, I'm very happy with my choice.

I am really enjoying this watch. I've never owned a smart watch before so I can't compare it to others or the Watch 9. I love how much it can be personalized whether it is the display or for health monitoring. The sleep information is very insightful and I really like testing the ECG. It seems to keep accurate data for heart rate and monitoring. I haven't set up blood pressure yet but will. I was worried I might be overwhelmed with all the function but dins them easy to use. I think this watch is perfect for someone wanting to get insights on their daily health and habits.

Decided to upgrade from the galaxy watch this year. Been using it faithfully for about 4 and a 1/2 years without problems. This year, I decided to get the galaxy watch 9. Wow, what an improvement I enjoy. Having the ability to run apps on the watch, being able to see my health tracking and sleep information is helpful. When i'm waking up, I do wish that the battery life was a bit better, but I feel like I'll be able to iron that out with some setting changes as I learn more of what the watch does. It feels like a solid device in hand with an aluminum body. The straps feel comfortable and soft, but are a bit tighter, then the bands I was using on the original watch. Being able to clearly read and see what's on my screen in the bright light it's great as I do a lot of work outside.

My previous samsung watch lasted forever but I finally got tired of keeping it charged (the actual battery lasted me wayyyy longer than it should have). I'm so glad I chose to upgrade to the newest version. Everything is intuitive. I love that I can now see photos from text messages right on my watch. It helps me prioritize message responding even better. One thing im trying to learn is how to setup the blood pressure tracking. Its a little harder than expected but may be user error. As a health care provider I would not hesitate to recommend this watch to a patient because of the features it has for health maintenence, cardiovascular load and health information is sooo important. As is the coaching to help maximize movement during the day on your high energy days. Its beginner friendly and teaches you so much about yourself. Looking forward to finding even more features as I explore.
