With each generation, Samsung has refined the design, expanded the feature set, and deepened the integration with the broader Galaxy ecosystem. Even with that history, I wasn't prepared for just how significant an upgrade the Galaxy Watch 9 would be. After several weeks of daily use, I can say without hesitation that this is the most impressive Galaxy Watch I've owned — not because of one flashy feature, but because of how seamlessly everything works together.Upgrading from my Galaxy Watch 7 was effortless. In fact, “effortless” doesn't quite capture it. The transfer process was so smooth, so fast, and so complete that it felt almost magical. Within minutes, my apps, settings, watch faces, health data, and preferences were restored exactly as I left them. No digging through menus, no re‑pairing accessories, no tedious setup screens. It was the kind of transition that makes you forget you're using a new device. Every day since upgrading, I've discovered something new: a feature I didn't expect, a refinement I didn't know I needed, or a performance improvement that quietly elevates the entire experience. It's rare for a device to surprise me. I'm very happy . Great upgrade.

My previous samsung watch lasted forever but I finally got tired of keeping it charged (the actual battery lasted me wayyyy longer than it should have). I'm so glad I chose to upgrade to the newest version. Everything is intuitive. I love that I can now see photos from text messages right on my watch. It helps me prioritize message responding even better. One thing im trying to learn is how to setup the blood pressure tracking. Its a little harder than expected but may be user error. As a health care provider I would not hesitate to recommend this watch to a patient because of the features it has for health maintenence, cardiovascular load and health information is sooo important. As is the coaching to help maximize movement during the day on your high energy days. Its beginner friendly and teaches you so much about yourself. Looking forward to finding even more features as I explore.

I'm not exactly a techie person but I'm enjoying the different areas that this watch provides for me. Still finding my way but very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I literally waited for months to finally get my new Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 and I can say it was worth it. I was going to get the last model but with switching cell providers it was cheaper if I got this one so naturally I CHOSE it! I've only had it for about a week and so far I really like it. My last one was the 4 so yea a big difference....in a good way. The only thing I'm not crazy about is it seems so much bigger even though it's still 40mm. I guess due to the part around the Watch. I can't wait to get new bands for it to customize.

Decided to upgrade from the galaxy watch this year. Been using it faithfully for about 4 and a 1/2 years without problems. This year, I decided to get the galaxy watch 9. Wow, what an improvement I enjoy. Having the ability to run apps on the watch, being able to see my health tracking and sleep information is helpful. When i'm waking up, I do wish that the battery life was a bit better, but I feel like I'll be able to iron that out with some setting changes as I learn more of what the watch does. It feels like a solid device in hand with an aluminum body. The straps feel comfortable and soft, but are a bit tighter, then the bands I was using on the original watch. Being able to clearly read and see what's on my screen in the bright light it's great as I do a lot of work outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my older Samsung Galaxy Watch5 to the new Watch9, and I'm so glad that I did! It is beautiful and much more comfortable than my old one. The biometrics seem very responsive and accurate. I chose the new Misty band in yellow, and it is very comfortable yet secure, though I should have purchased the larger size (please read the measurements). The interface is easy and responsive, and I LOVE the numerous face options and all of the beautiful color options for the faces.

I chose this watch because of the size of the screen, I can read my text messages even without my glasses on. All of the great features that are seamlessly integrated to work with my Fold 8Ultra makes the combo just perfect - and I use the healh information to adjust my exercise and sleep habits to feel better daily. Try this watch out, you won't be disappointed!
