It doesn't look like your typical clunky pool equipment; it feels well-engineered and looks great poolside. One of the best design choices is the transparent debris chamber. Being able to see exactly what has been collected—and knowing exactly when it's time to empty it—takes the guesswork out of maintenance. While the vacuum performs well, there is a slight learning curve with the interface. The manual states that you need to hold the power button for two seconds to turn it on or off. In practice, I found it requires a bit more patience—it feels more like three or four seconds of holding the button before the unit responds. It's not a deal breaker, but it's something to keep in mind so you don't think the battery is dead or the button is unresponsive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was a great addition to my cleaning tools. My pool is currently empty for the winter months so to test this out I used it on the sandbox cover that had gathered water and some dirt from a recent rain. The vacuum was easy to handle and easily got rid of the dirt that was on the cover. The sound wasn't bad but since this wasn't submerged I don't feel like I can fully comment on that. I am so excited to use it this spring/summer in the pool to help me reach the areas I have a hard time getting to.

It has both front and back scrubbers. It also comes with removable filters which allow you to pick up even very fine particles. The waste basket is large and holds quite a bit. The vacuum weighs about as much as other pool vacuums. It will float when it is ready to be emptied and charged and comes with a hook you can attach to your brush/net pole for easy grabbing. I love that it is cordless as there is no longer cords to untangle and this vacuum doesn't get stuck on our drain like our old vacuum did. We ran the vacuum for about 8 passes to get the pool completely clean from the off season which is about what it would have taken for our old vacuum.

The mapping only takes the first use to get the layout of your pool down and after that it works like a charm. The app is extremely easy to use and works great at scheduling, and the skimming feature is probably my favorite function as we need it often since we do not have a lanai over our pool. Although this vacuum is big, after it is finished it floats to the top and is easy to lift out for charging. The battery needs to be charged after each use, but I expected that considering most pools are quite large. I am so excited to own this and can't wait to keep using it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This decide worked well and the pole was pretty durable. The bottom sweeper portion get very cheap and can see it easily breaking in the future. The suction was great an really picked up a good amount of debris. For the cost of this device I would say it is priced at a too high of a price point for the quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pool vacuum is easy to assemble and came charged. It arrived well packaged and not too heavy. I appreciate that it really is vacuum like. My experience with this Pilot X1 is that it has a small work area, the suction is good and the ease of use was reasonable. I will try it again to compare. We happen to have leaves/needles in the pool. The hope was to get them out easier than using the handheld scooper. I made some progress but had to empty the basket several times and ran out of time. I imagine this might be better during warmer months when debris is mostly “sand/dirt”. I'm grateful to have been sent this by Influenster and Aiper. My review is limited to one initial use. I will update this review and add video.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is truly innovative and works so well at cleaning my pool! It is easy to use, especially with the phone app. It maps out my pool area to ensure it cleans thoroughly. It also goes up the sides of the pool with ease! The size of the machine is perfect as it is not too big or not too small and it traps all the debris with one use! I am so glad this product exceeds my expectations, and I no longer need a "pool guy"!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been quite cold since we received. When pool weather comes around this is going to be the greatest addition to our pool supplies! My hubby and I are already excited to start cleaning the pool floor really easily!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Listen, if you own an in-ground pool, do yourself a favor and invest in this smart robot pool cleaner! It literally does it all, not only cleaning the bottom of your pool, but also the floating stuff on top and the sides of your pool! Once it's mapped out the size and shape of your pool, it remembers where it needs to go and does all the work for you! Yes, it's heavy, but easily liftable with two arms and I don't even work out. It parks itself by the edge of the pool when it's done cleaning and all you have to do is pick it up, clean out the filter (which is super easy once you figure out how to!), and then put it back to charge on the dock. You don't even have to wait until it's dry to charge it, which is nice! We haven't even used it that often and I already know we'll be getting our money's worth once summer comes around. If it wasn't for the chlorine work my pool guy did, I probably wouldn't even need him anymore thanks to this 😝

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pilot X1 has honestly made pool cleanup way less annoying. It's lightweight, cordless, and powerful enough to grab leaves and debris. I love that I can do a quick clean in a matter of minutes, instead of putting it off all week. Totally worth it for everyday pool maintenance.
