It's easy to use and reaches corners that an old vacuum would otherwise miss. My only downfall of this is that depending on the size of your pool, the battery dies within 2 hours of use. I think it's better for spa or hot tubs in regards to the battery life.

We have a narrow shallow end with stairs and our pool pump vacuum hardly ever is able to clean that area. This device allows us to clean the hard to reach are, we can remove leaves off our steps, and do a quick clean up before parties. It's like a cordless vacuum for the pool! So easy to use! We even bought the pump we love the brand so much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is just OK. It came in handy when our usual pool robot was inoperable, but it is not a solution for an entire pool. Going forward we might continue to use it for the spa, as that is much more shallow than the pool itself. The head of the vacuum is also quite small so it does take some elbow grease to get a surface clean.

Indeed it cleans the bottom, the side walls and the waterline. The only thing it struggles with is the set of stairs. That being said my pool is kidney-shaped and this robot is the best by far. It beats the other because it is cordless, its battery is huge, it cleans almost all the pool. I like that the charge is by contact with the holder, it means no water can enter the robot and damage it. The app is also nice, it feels easier to program the robot and it can tell you what it is doing and how it cleans the pool. It even gives you the water quality, I will have to look deeper at this metric during the summer time. The only grey point is the weight, it is pretty heavy. At the same time, I prefer a heavy robot that lasts long rather than a light one that I need to recharge 3 times. In conclusion, this robot is the one you need, you will not regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Alper Pilot X1 for a while and it works pretty well for quick pool cleaning. 🌺It's lightweight, easy to handle, and picks up sand, leaves, and small debris without much effort. I like that the head rotates, so it can reach corners easily. 🌹The suction is decent for a handheld vacuum, but it's better for regular maintenance rather than heavy cleaning. 🌾It feels consistent but not very powerful. Works fine every time, but performance drops as the filter fills up.

The best feature this cleaner provides is a cord-free cleaning experience with wifi connectability. Even though the cleaner itself is heavy (30+ lbs), the weight actually feels like a sign of solid build quality and doesn't affect how smoothly it moves through the water. Once water is added, the cleaner may be difficult for some to lift, but if you let it drain without fully lifting, it is more manageable to remove from the pool and put on its charging dock. A hook to attach to your pole is included. On my first run, mine was getting stuck in a corner wall slope, which was a little frustrating, but after switching to a different cleaning pattern, that problem disappeared completely. The robot cleaner seems to handle the floor, walls, waterline, and steps very well, but the skimmer cleaning is average. I like how quiet it runs and how much debris it picks up without needing frequent manual cleaning. The large amount of small debris like sand the fine filter picks up surprises me during my initial filter changes. Multiple filters are included depending on filtration needs and the filter is easy to click into place. Wi-fi connection uses a 2.4 GHz band only. Wi-fi is convenient and allows me to stay on top of my robot, although there is a connection loss when the robot is underwater. Would I recommend this? Yes, if it has the features you want and you can handle lifting the weight.

The machine does all the work. It mapped my pool and scrubbed the bottom, walls and then skimmed the top! The charge lasts a long time! I can never go back to scrubbing the pool manually. Very compact for the work it produces and charging stand is easy to set in an outside pool room

I tried with sand as well as some specks of plants and it didn't really suck anything up. It seems well built and heavy like it would last a long time. Would be nice if it worked better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I was sent this during the summer time rather than the winter so that I could actually use it before reviewing it. My pool has been covered with an automatic pool cover and I don't retract it until mid to end of March. I will say it's a beautiful built machine with a lot of convenient features and app controlled, similar to the robot I already had. This machine was fairly easy to assemble, taking me about 10 mins including app set up. Love the charging stand that comes with it and its own hook to scoop it out the pool. It is on the heavy side, my guess, weighing at least 30 pounds, without water in it. With water in it, I'd also guess from my experience with these it can get to weighing lose 50 pounds when lifting out of the pool with water in it. I'll come back in a month to update this review on how it actually cleaned my in-ground pool. Can't wait to put it to use.
