We usually make a pass around the pool with a brush and the mesh basket to get leaves. It's a pain and you certainly can't do it in your work clothes. As you can see from the photos, he's dressed for company and making a pass around the pool to grab debris. Don't be fooled by what appears to be dirt on the steps - that's just inherent to our pool bottom. He had just finished clearing the steps of leaves. This Aiper unit is a stick vacuum for your pool. It's convenient and quick to use. We use it for quick cleanups but you can also use it for daily cleaning. It comes with 2 filters; the extra fine one gets finer particles and is better for cleaning beyond picking up leaves and twigs and the like. It's very effective at sucking up debris, whether it's leaves or dirt that's settled. It's got a multi adjustable pole and its slim profile makes it easier to use without having to wrestle it around the pool. The pole extends to get the deep end. And I love it most for shallow steps and the hot tub. It's just too easy to use and effective! It also comes with a nifty wall holder. We installed it near an outlet in the garage so it can charge between uses. We haven't run out of battery yet before we were done with the work. That was our big hesitation with this - running out of “juice” before we finished. It never happened. We are so pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is basically a cordless vacuum for your pool. We have a medium sized above ground and this works perfect. We had one that you hooked to a hose and it wasted so much water. This sucks up, catches the gunk like a land cordless, and sends the water back out, preserving water. Which is awesome. Has things around the handle to make it float if you let it go too which helps. Its kinda heavy on land but easy to maneuver in the water. Makes it more efficient and that is a good thing.

I was so glad to try this machine out and it did everything it promises and more. Very easy to set up and cleans the edges spotlessly, floor and top. In all my years of breaking my back to clean debris I can't believe such an amazing tool exists. If you own a pool you know it comes with expenses and for what it's worth this is something absolutely worth spending money on! Also- our old one would suck air in every time it came to an edge and scare the daylights out of our kids, this is so quiet and far more effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ScubaX1ProMax is a cordless pool vacuum with app integration. The vacuum itself is very sleek and visually appealing. It has both front and back scrubbers. It also comes with removable filters which allow you to pick up even very fine particles. The waste basket is large and holds quite a bit. The vacuum weighs about as much as other pool vacuums. It will float when it is ready to be emptied and charged and comes with a hook you can attach to your brush/net pole for easy grabbing. I love that it is cordless as there is no longer cords to untangle and this vacuum doesn't get stuck on our drain like our old vacuum did. We ran the vacuum for about 8 passes to get the pool completely clean from the off season which is about what it would have taken for our old vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just not sure what to say about this pool vacuum. We were very excited to get it. We charged it up and the first time we put it in the pool, the battery didn't last for very long. It did pick up large debris in the basket, and you could clearly see the lines where the vacuum had swept and not swept. But it didn't complete the whole pool. We gave it the benefit of the doubt, and charged it up again. It's been cleaning for over 4 hours this time and it is still going. But the pool is very, very cloudy. It is stirring up sediment but not clearing it out of the pool. We are disappointed.

It's easy to use and reaches corners that an old vacuum would otherwise miss. My only downfall of this is that depending on the size of your pool, the battery dies within 2 hours of use. I think it's better for spa or hot tubs in regards to the battery life.

My pool is currently empty for the winter months so to test this out I used it on the sandbox cover that had gathered water and some dirt from a recent rain. The vacuum was easy to handle and easily got rid of the dirt that was on the cover. The sound wasn't bad but since this wasn't submerged I don't feel like I can fully comment on that. I am so excited to use it this spring/summer in the pool to help me reach the areas I have a hard time getting to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Aiper Pilot X1 pool vacuum was so well packaged and easy to assemble. The directions were very clear for both assembly and usage. It was easy to charge and took less than the allotted 2.5 hours for the first charge. Although my pool is relatively clean since it's winter time and not used, there was some dirt and sand that the vacuum was able to suction up on both shallow mode and deep water depending on the area of pool. It worked with only minimal passes! I love that the extendable handle allows for vacuuming the pool without actually being in the water! I truly think it's something that I will enjoy using because you just charge and go. And to me, that makes this vacuum invaluable!

I love that I can do a quick clean in a matter of minutes, instead of putting it off all week. Totally worth it for everyday pool maintenance.
