The built-in exfoliating bar is a game changer—it helps prep the skin before the blades even touch it, giving me a super smooth and comfortable shave. No irritation, no tugging, and it feels like it glides effortlessly. The handle feels premium and well-balanced too. I've tried a lot of razors over the years, but this one definitely stands out. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must readily admit that I'm a bit of a shaving snob and it has taken me years to perfect my shaving routine, from the actual products used to the overall process. So, needless to say, I'm always apprehensive of trying something new. I gave up cartridge razors years ago, as the results were always subpar and it simply was not worth it. I can honestly state, however, that this is the most effective and most comfortable cartridge razor that I have ever used. A lot of it has to do with using the right shaving products (pre-shave, cream, oil, after-shave, etc.) for you, so your results will be dependent upon finding the right match for yourself. My immediate reaction when I tried this particular razor was surprise at the weight. Cartridge razors typically feel much too light and flimsy, but that's certainly not the case with this one. The weight is good and the handle is balanced in a way that it does not create any sort of undesirable fatigue with prolonged use. Quality is top-notch for a cartridge razor. I still somewhat believe that the claim that this razor's exfoliating technology removes debris is a gimmick...but it doesn't really hurt anything, either. I almost can't believe that I'm saying that the performance of a cartridge razor is satisfactory, but this comes way closer than anything similar. While I won't be using this as my go-to razor or a replacement to what I have been using, it will definitely be nice to have this for occasions when it might be appropriate, such as traveling.

Great value and comes with 1 razor, 1 razor stand and 2 cartridges (refills). One of my husband's favorite features is for sure the magnetic stand so razor stands up and doesn't lay flat, which definitely reduces the clutter around the bathroom sink. And as always, the Gillette blades are the best and for sure minimizes the chances of accidentally cutting the skin. Would definitely recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Labs with exfoliating bar has a solid magnetic stand that keeps the razor upright and in the best position to dry out between uses. The razor came complete with 1 razor handle, 1 stand, and 2 cartridges. The 2D FlexDisc pivoting head allows the blades to swivel from side to side to contour the face for a nice clean shave. The cartridge has five blades and each blade is mounted on springs to help them move up and down there is an additional single blade at the rear to tackle those awkward areas such as underneath the nose and corners of the mouth. Above the blades is a lubricating strip and beneath the blades is a tiny ridged micro comb which lifts and guides the hairs into pole position for a clean cut. Overall this razor provided a clean comfortable shave.

Like I had put too much shaving cream on or I wasn't pressing the razor down hard enough or something as there was no pull or tug on the hairs like I normally experience even when some higher end razors that I've used. It was like I was running it against an already smooth surface. The head swivels a bit for greater control of the razor which is useful when going around the jawline. The magnetic base is also a nice touch as it make it a little more presentable on the sink rather than just laying a razor down. Overall, this is a really nice razor and I look forward to using it a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They have made a fantastic razer with this one by GilletteLabs. It really does glide across your face and with minimal irritation. The pivoting bearing is really a game changer as you navigate around your chin and face. Comes with an impressive magnetic stand that shows it off too. Has a nice weight to it and the only thing I had an adjustment period while using this was, I accidentally pushed the disconnect on the razer to drop the head off. This is built into the pivoting area and my thumb like to sit on it. Hands down still my favorite manual razer I have used.
