I bought this player so we could watch our bluerays and dvds and I'm really pleased! Simple and user friendly, neat, compact size, and great quality! I highly recommend.

This is the third blue Ray model BDP S1700 that has failed on me. First one failed within one year. Second within one month. Now under warranty I'm on the third. Don't buy this model!!!

Bought this about a month ago and I am pleased with the purchase, I'd been happier had I not had to provide such necessities as the HDMI and USB cables.

I was looking to get both a new blu-ray player, and a zone free DVD player - so it was great to be able to get them all in one. I've tried it out for both purposes and it works well.

It does everything as expected. A bit slow to load. But the main issue is that it is not working with a Vision TV or the remote can't be programmed to be used with a Vision TV.

Bought this Blue Ray player for my camper. I wanted one that was small, so it would not take up a lot of room. This Sony fit the bill. I was very happy with the ease of setting it up and all the features that come with this player!

Great quality, great sound, great bass, it is really nice, but it would be nicer to read and see the settings better on the speaker. One but not two Thumbs Up

The Blu-ray player is exactly what I purchased for. It played my Toast made HD-DVD, Blu-ray movies, and regular DVD's with ease. It is easy to use and setup. I am all for it.

With my new Samsung tv, I don't have to do anything to play it. Just put a dvd into it and it plays. At my age this is important. Great little player for the price!
