I recommend this to everyone first time I've had one and I absolutely love it. It's a great design and really great quality of the picture thanks for such a great product.

It plays Blu-ray and regular DVD I was so happy about because my DVD collection is a little larger than my Blu-ray collection. And the plus is the streaming apps. Everything is already built in so I don't have to get any extra devices. It's small, sleek, and quite. The picture is amazing and clear also.

The player is compact, and packs all the right features for my needs. I use it for outdoor movie nights, both Blu-Ray discs and streaming. I like the offline ability mostly, so I can be portable with movie nights - its just wonderful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the size of this player, it's nice and small and it doesn't take up much space. It plays both dvd and blu-ray discs and has nice picture quality. I will say, it requires an hdmi cable to connect to the TV, but it does not include one in the box which is a bit of an inconvenience. The setup is quite easy, I had no issues with connectivity or once playing the discs, and batteries for the remote are included. The player has streaming capabilities but it uses a wired connection, so an ethernet cable is needed to connect to the internet. I personally don't mind as I will mostly use it to play blu-rays, but if you would like to use the streaming features, keep that in mind because Sony does offer a wireless version as well.

It is pretty straight forward to set up and the interface is userfriendly. I would say that it is just it is. I am missing features as simple as you can't add apps to it like those found in Google Play for example. So that makes it just a player, just basic. If you are just like my dad, in his 80s, this may be a good thing for you, modern but not updated. Please don't get me wrong, it works, just not something that suited my needs as I found out.

Very low profile and can be slid nicely just about anywhere. It's a great brand name that I trust, so that's also a big plus. It's made well and is easy to install and use. The quality is good and has tons of apps to use if you want. Nice and simple to use which is a bigger plus for me. I would recommend this player.

Love the fact that I can instantly stream my favorite movies, music, tv shows and so much more from some of my favorite apps such as Netflix and YouTube. It comes with a remote and it requires internet connection. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this without completely checking it out. I had planned on upgrading an older unit we have. The good: It's a Sony, I believe that I always can trust Sony products. Easy to hook up and easy to use. Played every disc that I tried. I love the option of preloaded streaming apps.. The bad: I had hoped that by now ALL electronic devices would be Bluetooth and wireless wifi compatible. How much would it really add to the cost. I also realize that not everyone has wireless, but not everyone has wired LAN cable throughout their house either.

So many great features in this compact player! I really like the fact that I can access various streaming services. I can easily stream movies with crisp high definition picture quality.
