[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Blu-Ray Disc player was simple to set up so anyone with any level of technology experience can easily use this player. The picture/sound quality is really good. I also appreciate its lightweight and slim design as it doesn't take up too much space near our television. Another plus is the usb connection However, be aware that this player is NOT WiFi ready. This particular model must be directly plugged into your modem. And the cable isn't included with this product. So, unfortunately, you'll have some extra work cut out for yourself if you're planning on using this in a room that isn't where your modem is housed. The other drawback is although you can stream Netflix and YouTube from this device, you cannot stream other services like Disney+ or Prime. Your apps are limited to only what comes with this player and other than the two previously mentioned, the others are pretty obscure in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this Sony blu ray player for a couple weeks now. I love it . It's so easy to use and the fact my some can watch you tube and Netflix is so amazing. We have had blue ray players before but this is by far the best we have ever owned.

This unit was easy to set up and does it's job like it should. I was surprised to find that streaming options are included in BR players nowadays, but it's a cool option. I think the best thing about this player is the flippy door that covers the disc drawer. Nice to keep dust out. I also really like the design of the machine. It's very compact and sleek compared to players of yore.

Our home is a gaming household, so we have game consoles that are also Blu-ray equipped, but sometimes I don't feel like firing them up just to watch a movie. This player is a great addition to my guest room and allows me to keep the consoles in the living room. I also enjoy how the player is able to stream, huge convenience! It's not just limited to Blu-ray and DVD, so I would definitely recommend to people who like to stream and watch discs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hmm the only other device I can compare this to is my old xbox 360. Because everything is online now, I never got to updating the hardwares. I do, however, have some old discs that I do play time to time for nostalgia. To be honest, this device didn't seem to be anything special. A dvd player is a dvd player in my eyes. With that said, though, after a few weeks of use, it holds up well. And an ethernet connection means that there's no stutter when streaming high quality content. It's a nice addition for those with no smart tvs or streaming devices.

We have tons of DVDs of our classic movies and we wanted a sleek player that would be easy for us to use as well as our children. The design and size of this player allows us to keep it out on our entertainment stand- we love that this player is not bulky and attention grabbing. This player is also easy to use and can take a little beating from little children. We have a smaller child that likes to pick up our electronics and not put them down so gently-- no denting or scratching has happened to the player or the DVDs inside. Great quality! We are happy to have this player and look forward to using it for the year ahead.

I don't have many blu ray discs but it's nice to be able to watch them when I like. The one thing I'd really like were for it to be WiFi enabled, that would be a lot more convenient and open way more opportunities. I also like the option to use Netflix great for my grand daughter.
