You have to attach a blue internet cable which caused an issue for me and I wasn't able to use it very much. I brought it in the living room and everybody loves it.! Once you get internet to it it works amazingly.!

Now the kids can watch their discs since we didn't have a player. With all the new technology, my mind is blown away. Highly recommend to anyone in the market for a blue ray player. This thing is amazing!

Not only does this play your movies on disc's but it also has your favorite streaming apps. This is a cheaper way of turning any TV into a smart one. It's super easy to hook up and set up. My 6 year old can work the buttons and apps on her own as well. So far it's working great. I would recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was just a normal Blu ray player, but it's not. You actually can hook up the internet through a wired connection, and play Netflix on it! There's a button on the remote just for Netflix as well.

Not only does it play blue rays it also plays cds, dvds, blue rays and get this it streams all your favorite streaming platforms!!! What ! Yep … it does all that..mind blowing plus it's half the size of most blue ray player too. Great job on this one Sony you're really moving us into the future of technology.

It's compact size allows it to be a really great solution for a secondary entertainment center like in a college dorm, kids' room, or bedroom. It has all of the important features you want in a player. My favorite feature is that the disk tray is cleverly concealed, so as not to be tempting for little children to pull on and break the trap door that is typically visible. There's a USB connection on the front of the unit to download firmware. In the couple of years this model has been out, there have been no updates, so we didn't need to do anything more than plug-and-play. This player does not have WiFi, so you will need a network cable to use Netflix streaming capabilities. If you want something fancy with lots of bells and whistles, this model may not be fore you, but if you're looking for something that will do the job and has the reputation of the Sony brand behind it, this is for you. Hopefully you'll find that you will love this little thing as much as we do!

With streaming apps available on it your not restricted to only using it for a blu ray player. The player comes in handy to have for anyone that has discs of memories or movies we need access to. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed how easy it was to setup for someone my age. The clarity and sharpness of the the screen was amazing. The fact that I can stream on to apps with my tv that is a halfway smart t v, works wonder. It works better if you have good internet. I have low internet. But it is an awesome . And it doesn't take up a lot of room on your shelf. It is very compact. As always ,Sony has exceeded its expectations.

I never thought of getting a blu-ray player but my goodness, the player is so nice. Easy to set up and easy to use. Also I'm very happy with Sony products, quality and built to last a long time. It was a smooth process all together. I will have to look into more blu rays to get more use out of this player.
