We love that it's "wired" with the internet so we can also use streaming services as well! Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Sony Blu Ray disc player and I'm not absolutely thrilled with it. I thought it was WiFi compatible but it's not. You have to have an Ethernet cable in order to stream with it. Unfortunately my router is in my office and it's to far away for that. It does have a good picture and I can still use it for my DVD player so I'm good with that. I would recommend it however, I think it should be made clearer that it's not WiFi compatible.

It was easy to set up with my smart TV, and it is simple and intuitive to operate. The picture quality is beautiful. Really haven't found anything to complain about!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This player looks bare bones though it performs video play and upscaling well and good audio performance. The problem I have is that while it connects to my wi-fi network it shows "connection failure" messages with Smartcast and internet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this because we needed another blu ray/ DVD player. It was very easy to install and set up. The remote is easy to use and navigate the buttons. Everything works well, it slides open nicely and closes. We have had no trouble playing any of the DVD's that we have put in it. It gives great picture quality. Overall we're very happy with this.

It also has internet capabilities that allow me to use Youtube and other apps. It's a nice size and isn't too big, it's sleek and looks very nice on my entertainment center without taking up too much space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have Sony TV in my grandkids room, it is an older one. I thought this little DVD player would work well in there and let them access Netflix and also YouTube TV... which they love! It is small which is GREAT... it fits the perfect in the smaller cabinet I have in their room. I had no trouble with the connection... my husband helped me and it was a smooth and simple process. I will say that it needed a cable... HDMI... I think my husband said, which we had on hand. It played the DVD's that I had... even the older ones, and the picture was great!! (my newer Sony Blue Ray will not play the older DVD's). There are a lot of features on this player that I haven't checked out yet. (I definitely will be trying the casting feature!) So far I have to give this little player 5 stars! I'm sure my 13 and 10 year old grandsons will be trying it out and teaching me all about the features... they are the experts after all! Overall I can highly recommend this DVD player for ease of connection, features, picture quality and size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dug out some Blu-ray movies to try out this disc player. It easily connected to our tv. It produced a nice quality movie with no skipping. It was a smooth process all together. I will have to look into more blu rays to get more use out of this player.
