It's way better features that an older Blu ray disc player, easy to hook up, and easy to use. I didn't expect it to be so nice when I ordered it but I'm going to buy another for the guest room soon

Along with the flexibility of both DVD and blue ray, this player also offers access to Netflix. The player is compact and doesn't take up much room. Its easy to hook up to any video system, which allows one to set it up and play within minutes. Picture quality is superb!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my bedroom to watch blu-Ray on at night. When opened was impressed with the compact sleek look that it had. It was easy to hook up to tv with hdmi and power cord. The quality of video on screen was more then expected. Then also the added streaming ability was a big plus.

The disc drive would not open up for us to get a disc out. We used this player for several months. followed all the suggestions in trying to get the drawer open but couldn't. Had to take the unit cover off, then the disc drive top off to get the disc out since the disc is a difficult show our daughter likes and can't find. I was informed that the unit was manufactured Feb 2016, yet the internal sticker INSIDE the unit itself said it was manufactured August 2020. How is that possible? So I was told it would not be under warranty, then I was told it would be and then I was told it wasn't!!

I don't have many blu ray discs but it's nice to be able to watch them when I like. The one thing I'd really like were for it to be WiFi enabled, that would be a lot more convenient and open way more opportunities. I also like the option to use Netflix great for my grand daughter.

The design is modern yet lightweight so it has no overbearing appearance in any home theater. It plays beautifully and has low sound. I recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this Blue-Ray DVD player is compact and light but pack with video streaming. You can watch Netflix and Youtube videos by hooking up your internet with a ethernet cable. Set up is easy. The DVD remote is also compact but easy to navigate. I was able to connect my LED flat screen tv with an HDMI cable directly to the Sony DVD player and it was good to go. Quick loading disc tray. Played a DVD and the picture quality is excellent. Overall, this is a excellent Blue-ray DVD disc player from Sony. Nice clean design. Solid build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get this new Blu-ray player to watch some of these movies I've had sitting around when I didn't have a player available. It works absolutely great and set up with simple. It does offer extra features like Netflix but you do have to be wired into the router which for my setup does not work so that is not very beneficial for me. Overall it does its job and it's a great player
