[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a non smart tv in my bonus room. We have one Blue Ray player in the house and it was a pain to move it from room to room. I got this player for the internet ability and blue ray playback. Set up was easy and on screen instructions were simple to follow. The size is average for a Blue Ray player. It does not take up a lot room. Having the Netflix/Youtube apps is such a treat since the tv did not have it. The player does not have a noisy motor and is quiet. The remote works well and the buttons are labeled well.

With this, my kids can watch Netflix, Prime Video, DVDs or Blurays (since the old Wii doesn't play DVDs). It's pretty easy to use, and we haven't had any issues with it. The unit is small, fits nicely on the shelf without taking up much room. The remote is small and very easy to lose, unfortunately. But that's also a fact of life with kids, I guess. I like that it remembers where we left off if we stop, and come back to a movie later. And I like that the audio/visual quality is good. It does not have wireless internet capability - you'll need to have a place you can plug it in nearby. The description and box are clear about this fact but I still wanted to mention it. It also doesn't come with the HDMI cord you'll want to connect it to your TV.

It can be used online or not. The on screen instructions take you step by step. We had it set up in 5 minutes. Love that I can stream my favorite apps on it! The picture quality is great, even with the older DVDs, so much better than our old player. The remote is simple and easy to use. A nice touch is that it came with batteries for the remote. Great all in one player.

Not only does it play blue rays it also plays cds, dvds, blue rays and get this it streams all your favorite streaming platforms!!! What ! Yep … it does all that..mind blowing plus it's half the size of most blue ray player too. Great job on this one Sony you're really moving us into the future of technology.

Setup was really simple and we find the Netflix and other streaming options to be super convenient. Nice and small but powerful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Posted 6 months ago. The Sony Blu-Ray/DVD Player model BDP-BX370 seems to be a great deal for the features you get at the asking price. I had no problem setting it up with my other hardware which includes my TV, soundbar with subwoofer, and Dish receiver. I was easily able to add it to my remote via my harmony hub by plugging it into my PC and adding the device into the Master bedroom setup using the watch a movie button on my remote to activate the necessary hardware. The Player comes with YouTube and is miracast capable which is great but when I tried using it from my wifes phone and casting to the TV via the Blu-Ray player the picture looked bad. I ended up just signing out from the phone and signing her into her YouTube account on the player and then used a wired connection for the internet. It should not have been a problem with wireless considering we have gigabit fiber service and Netgear Orbi's all over the house. It could have been due to some type of interference, not really sure but I expected better. The Sony BDP-BX370 has a good user interface that was easy to navigate and it also has a nice controller as well as a decent assortment of available apps for streaming. My wife wants to use it for dance exercise videos and I was impressed by the picture it produced from a regular DVD. It was very sharp and clear! I did notice the sound was not as loud compared to when we are watching TV through the Dish system for some reason but we can just turn it up or I may be able to change some settings for that. I put it on surround so maybe I should set it to stereo and try that. It has other sound settings as well like PCM and Dolby so there is a comprehensive settings menu. I would say for the price you can't go wrong if you are looking for a 1080p Blu-Ray/DVD player; it has to upscale built-in for older DVDs to make them look close to 1080p. Overall it is very feature-packed for an item at the price point it is set at and I would not hesitate to recommend it to someone.

This blue ray player is light weight and includes almost everything you need to get started, even batteries for the remote. The picture is clear and their are many apps that come pre installed. The only thing I wish were different is that this was a wireless setup. I wanted to put this in my boys room and realized that it is a wired only set up meaning it can't be too far from your internet router. Other than that this really is a great Blue-ray disc player.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't let the small size fool you. This Blu-ray disc player is made by trusted company Sony and is packed with features. The only thing this small package lacks is an HDMI cable. After purchasing a cable, we hooked it up to our ethernet and voila, we have a great picture! The picture is clear and colors are good. We have since unhooked from the ethernet and connected it to our tv as a blu-ray player only, since we have a smart tv with streaming built in. The remote is included, as well as pre-loaded software apps for Netflix, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about this Sony blu-ray player was the portability. It is lightweight and compact, and can be easily moved from one room to another or even taken on trips. Before getting started you need to know you will need a high-speed HDMI cable, to connect the player to your TV and a wired ethernet cable, for streaming services. Some might prefer a wi-fi connection player, but personally, I think using an ethernet cable is easier and better than having to set up the wi-fi connection. Especially if you are not very experienced when it comes to setting up new devices, as is my case. It was a bit challenging and overwhelming to read the instructions and figure out what the steps were, but I was able to get it done. I mainly was interested in using the device to play blu-ray discs, since I already have a streaming device, but it is nice to have this option. You can use it to stream Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, and other apps I don't necessarily need. The sound and picture quality is good for blu-ray discs, which was my main concern. The remote is very handy, and it even has a Netflix button for easy access. You can also pick another app to add as a Favorite. It is actually more useful than the remote I have for my other streaming device. It has more functions and it makes it easier to navigate the menus. In conclusion, this is basically a slightly fancier blu-ray player. Think of it as a high-quality player that also offers as a bonus, the option to stream Netflix and a few other apps, as long as you have the extra required cables.
