They are medium size and bright red. Not difficult for me to swallow. I really like the smell of the pills. The smell is not fishy at all it's sweet and reminds me of vanilla. I had a positive experience and would definitely recommend this product. I got to try this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I haven't had a blood test yet to see if it helped reduce my cholesterol and I don't think one bottle will do that so a purchase is coming up when I run out. The only reason I give 4 stars is the smell when you open the bottle, very strong, other than that, this product is great!

The softgels are just the right size to take with water or food without getting stuck in my throat. The softgels have a pleasant smell in the bottle, it's almost a cocoa scent. There is no flavor to the softgels and especially no aftertaste, which I love. Overall I would definitely purchase in the future and would recommend MegaRed to those looking to get a high amount of Omega-3 Fatty Acids along with other key nutrients in a simple, tasteless, one-a-day form.

I have not experienced that with MegaRed which is great. I love all the heart health benefits from taking the krill oil. The best thing for me is the size of these soft gels. I hate having to swallow large pills so these soft gels are the right size and go down easy.

One bottle hasn't made me notice an improvement on anything in particular. They are very easy to swallow and there is no fishy taste. They are a good quality and they are effective. My Dr. recommended that I take fish oil. Fish oil is great but sometimes a fish taste comes up. But with these, it's so nice not to have that problem. Best of all they are effective.

MegaRed 500mg Extra Strength Omega-3 Krill Oil carries their oil in a specific form which allows for better absorption, unlike other Krill Oil products being sold. The product can't work properly if it is not properly absorbed into your system. I love that MegaRed obtains their krill oil from a sustainable source! And I love that Mega Red Extra Strength Omega-3 Krill Oil has no fishy aftertaste. As healthy as you believe you are eating, odds are that you aren't getting your daily recommend allowance of Omega 3. Our bodies need Omega 3, not only to help prevent heart disease, but also for healthy brain function as well as healthy joints and eyes. I've used MegaRed regularly, but hadn't tried their 500 mg Extra Strength offering. Needless to say, I'm bumping up to 500 mg and have already added it to my regular purchase list.
