These MegaRed softgels are not only much smaller (and more powerful) but there was no fishy taste! I had heard of MegaRed, but had not tried them until I received a complimentary bottle in return for my honest review. I can say without reservation that I much prefer MegaRed softgels to anything else I've used and they are even more powerful which is something I need at this point in my life. I would not only recommend them, but I will be buying this brand instead of my usual brand in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously been told by my doctor that I should take a daily fish oil supplement. The problem with them is that they are usually huge, hard to swallow, you have to take several at a time and they contain several grams of fat in each pill. Basically, I never got into taking the fish oil for those reasons. I recently tried the MegaRed Krill Oil and can honestly say that I would have no problem taking this supplement each day. First of all, you only have to take one a day. It is super small and very easy to swallow, even for someone like me that has a hard time swallowing pills. There is no fishy smell or taste to it and that is great. There are no fat grams listed on the label either. I don't eat fish so this is a great way to get my dose of Omega-3 that I am missing from not eating fish. I take mine after eating a full meal at dinner and it does not cause any stomach upset. This is coming from someone with a very sensitive stomach. I also love that the product is said to be eco-friendly sourced which basically means that they use practices to harvest the krill that doesn't result in overfishing. This is very important and I'm glad that the company is taking this stand and making an environmentally friendly product. I would highly recommend this krill oil to anyone but especially to those that need a fish oil and have a hard time swallowing traditional fish oil capsules.

What typically turns us off from them is either the size of the pill or the aftertaste. The MegaRed Krill Oil covers both of those issues! The size is much more manageable and there's no fishy aftertaste! Win win!! The bottle is fairly small if more than one person is taking the supplement. This would only last us 2 weeks.

I have tried other fish oil supplements where there is an odor aftertaste, bt not this brand. Its also very healthy to have with the omego's in my digestive system. Lot more energy, which is needed, Its also easy to swallow & small, which is nice & goes down easily. Easily absorbed. Taking 1 capsule a day does the trick. Good quality. Good for my heart & health & hopefully it reaches other areas in me. Always nice to supplements that support yr heart. Great Krill Oil Omego overall!

I'm not sure of the benefits just yet, but I know I'll be able to take these daily without a gag reflux.
