[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did receive a bottle of MegaRed Omega-3 Krill Oil in return for my honest review. I had not heard of this product prior to receiving it. I've been taking it for almost 3 weeks now and I feel like I have more energy. I do not notice any funky smells when I open the bottle it is more a gelatin smell. I also have not had any issue with after taste. I have noticed a better mood and I have some cholesterol issues and hoping it helps with that too. I have arthritis in my back and do feel like it helps with joint pain in my hips. I will continue taking and I do recommend.

They are a good quality and they are effective. My Dr. recommended that I take fish oil. Fish oil is great but sometimes a fish taste comes up. But with these, it's so nice not to have that problem. Best of all they are effective.

No fish burps- Since these are sourced from krill, there's no fishy after effects. In fact, they smell slightly of vanilla. 3. Extra Strength means fewer pills- Recommended dosage is only 2 per day. Other Omega pills recommend at least 3 per day, even the huge ones. Do I feel better? It's hard to tell. I've only been taking these for a week, so the only change is slightly softer stools. I take one in the morning, and one in the evening. If I take a dose right before bedtime, there's no fishy regrets. I've taken Mega Red in the past in Regular Strength, but I like the idea of an Extra Strength Omega-3 Krill Oil. I'll keep this as part of my supplement routine.

I would recommend it, I have only been using it a short time and have noticed a difference. I was aware of MegaRed but had never tried it. My parents use it, I didn't even know what it for. I was pleasantly surprised to find these lived up to their claims and do not. I've found them to be a great way to get the omega 3 fatty acids that I'm lacking in my diet. I feel better and have been more alert making me believe these have been a serious contributor to the changes I've noticed.
