Perfect for a family on the run!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Travel System for my first grandchild on a recommendation from a co-worker who said she wished she had purchased this system. My co-worker is a runner and since my son and his wife are runners, she said it would be perfect for their lifestyle...and it IS absolutely perfect. It is easy to put in and out of their vehicles and they are looking forward to doing road races together with their daughter.

Top of the line for an awesome price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the stellar product testing panel and boy, am I glad I did. This stroller is amazing. First of all, I put the whole thing together during my child's nap and it was quick & easy. I didn't need a screwdriver or a million little pieces. It was simple and feels sturdy. The parent tray and child tray are wonderful features. My kid loves some snacks so putting puffs in his snack tray made errands much more enjoyable. Several other brands require you purchase these trays as an add-on. I loved that the Modes travel system had everything included and for a great price. No additional items to purchase! The car seat pops right on in to the stroller too so no unbuckling and putting him back in the car seat just for a quick grocery run. Also, the storage space underneath is huge, so I normally can fit all the groceries underneath. Goodbye awkward car seat in the grocery cart fiasco! This travel system is a hit!

Great System for when you're on the go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I We were lucky enough to receive this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We had been wanting a new system to test always being on the go since we have a toddler. Getting in and out of the car easily and quickly with no hassle is a must for us. Some pros of this system: - car seat seems more light weight than a competitors brand that we also have. - stroller folds up quickly and easily without having to “fight” with it - the material is easily wipeable if baby spits up, etc - the storage basket on the bottom is a nice size so you don't have to worry about running out of room. Some cons of this system: - while the base was easy to install, we had a hard time tightening it to where it didn't flop around. We solved this by also using the seat belt to secure it, so essentially doing double strapping of it just to make sure it was safe - the button to loosen the straps is under the fabric and can be a little clumsy to get to if baby is fussing and you're trying to get them out quick...totally not a big deal, more of a convenience thing - when taking baby out of the car, sometimes I have a hard time getting the seat to detach from the base without wiggling it a bit. Just like above, not a huge deal, just an inconvenience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this system for how easily it maneuvers in and out of your vehicle. Especially for the families that are constantly on the go.

Luxurious, but large.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a 5 star product in terms of quality and features, so I was super excited to test it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but in the end it gets three stars because the stroller portion is HUGE and that's incredibly inconvenient for me. Notes from beginning to end... Assembly required; instructions clear and no tools, but took some time. Adjusting the back recline on the stroller is soooo easy, but figuring out footrest recline took me minute. The car seat is pretty standard for what's on the market, but also my favorite part of this travel system. The base installs in minutes and car seat truly does clip in and out easily. Attaching/detaching the car seat to the stroller with the toddler seat is really snug, and jostled my babe quite a bit. However, attaching the car seat without the toddler seat is a breeze, and probably my favorite way to use this travel system. Folding up the stroller is easy, but counter intuitive; it pulls towards you instead of folding down. When folded up, it is *VERY* large (about 4 ft x 2 ft) and took up the entire trunk space in my Jeep. This made it inconvenient to haul around (no place for groceries!) and tough to find a good storage space in my small home. Opening once folded (with toddler seat) is theoretically easy with just one latch to open, but it definitely takes two hands and is a bit too heavy, so it actually fell over about every other time I tried to open it. Features I love: it really does have a giant storage tray on bottom that has room to spare with my fully loaded diaper bag; the parent tray is perfect for phone/keys/coffee and the kids tray is great for snacks/sippy cups/toys; the sun shades on the stroller and car seat are nice, heavy duty, and even have an SPF rating, and I love that the stroller fully reclines for all the times that babes inevitably end up falling asleep. I travel cross-country/internationally quite often, so here are my thoughts on that: If traveling with it on an airline and also bringing the car seat, it would definitely be easier and more compact to leave the toddler seat at home. Folded this way it's more like 3'x1 1/2' and mostly bars. The plastic trays do extend out a good ways and I'm curious how these would hold up to baggage handling when gate checked. Honestly, if traveling alone (as I often do) this would NOT be my go to stroller, but it's excellent as more of a luxury stroller for around town/neighborhood/park.

Great Travel System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first time parent, the options for strollers and carseats can be so overwhelming. New parents, look no further than this travel system from Graco. We loved the infant seat and how easy it was to secure the base in my car. Once the base is installed you lock the seat in place, and can unlock it just as easily when it's time to go. No waking your precious sleeping baby when taking them in and out of the car. The stroller is perfect for newborns through toddlers. You can either lock the carseat onto the stroller or turn the seat into a bassinet. Once baby grows, the seat transitions to a traditional toddler seat with a secure 5 point harness. This travel system has an amazingly large storage basket that easily holds my now giant diaper bag! The stroller moves great and handles really well. And was super easy to assemble; no tools needed! Easy to assemble is my favorite part of this entire travel system. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this product to review.

Modes(TX) Element LX Travel System- a solid travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Graco Modes(TM) Element LX Travel System to try out through the Stellar Product Testing Panel when my son was 4.5 months old. Up until that point we had been using a different car seat and stroller with car seat adapter. There have been lots of things I like about the Modes(TX) Element LX Travel System and some things I don't like as compared to the system we've been using. We live in an urban area and so portability and a system that is easy to use are very important to us. The best thing about the car seat that was included with this travel system is that it is about 2 lbs lighter than our other car seat. That doesn't seem like a lot but it makes a huge difference for me as we have to go up a set of stairs to get to our front door and we are sometimes parked a block away from the house (sadly, no driveway/garage). It attaches to and releases from the car seat base easily, and the base was relatively straight-forward to install in the car. I do think it's helpful that there are four positions to adjust the shoulder straps. This helped us make sure we got the best fit for him. There are some things that we're not thrilled about with this car seat. While we didn't have to use the infant insert (baby was too big for it when we started using the system), we do still use the head insert to provide some extra support. This head insert is not nearly as cushioned or supportive as I hoped it would be. He has fallen asleep in the car seat several times and ends up with his head slumped to the side. This had never happened with our previous car seat/head insert combo and it makes me uneasy to see him in this position when he falls asleep. In all honesty though, he really hasn't seemed to mind! Another thing that probably bothers me more than bothers the baby is that the straps don't have any sort of padding on them around the shoulders. One thing that has bothered the baby, however, is that the canopy makes loud clicking sounds as it is pulled forward or pushed back. So if he's fallen asleep and I need to adjust the canopy position, it clicks so loud! It has woken him up each time. The release button to loosen the straps is a bit hidden and takes a few times to get used to - it can be a little tricky locating it with your finger get to release the straps. My husband still struggles with this after a couple of weeks. The stroller looks really nice and has a sturdy frame. My favorite thing about the stroller is how easily it collapses down (literally, a one-handed fold!) and it latches closed securely. It stands up and I don't worry that it'll tip over. All of these are really important to us as we have don't have much space for storage when it's not in-use. I also like that it lays flat in the trunk of my car (our other stroller doesn't and it constantly was rocking around). We haven't really tried the toddler seat because our baby is a little too small and young to sit in it without slumping over. It seems nicely made and easy to clean. The canopy is quite big and has a peephole. It does recline with a strap that releases the back, but this requires two-hands to do. The footrest is adjustable but a little awkward to adjust as it involves moving the Velcro straps around. The stroller is super-easy to use with the car seat and it's easy to pop the toddler seat on and off of as well. I like that you can turn the toddler seat to face you or to face out. The stroller required a bit of assembly and there were some tricky bits for my handy-man husband. There is a separate brake on each rear wheel and each has to be engaged separately to fully brake the stroller. This is a pretty big inconvenience to me- it would be so much easier if one button or lever could just engage both rear wheel brakes at the same time. Also, these brakes are HARD to push down and there would be no way you could disengage the brake if you were wearing sandals or flip flops because you have to use the top of your foot to flip the brake peddle up. While there is a very generous basket underneath the stroller (love that!), I don't love that it's pretty open in the back and not very secure. My diaper bag has started to slip out when going up a curb. There is a parent tray attached to the stroller and it holds my slim travel cups and water bottle pretty securely- there are 2 cup holders. But the tray is a little too small for my iPhone 8 and a bit shallow for keys or other small items. I'm always afraid that it will pop out if I hit a bump. There is a toddler tray that comes with the toddler seat but we haven't been able to use that yet. Overall, this is a solid travel system with some nice features (lightweight car seat, quick to pop onto stroller, sturdy stroller, easy to store, and great one-hand collapse). However there are some drawbacks that might be too hard for me, personally, to overlook (noisy canopy on car seat, two separate brakes on back wheels, difficult brakes to engage /disengage). If someone didn't mind these drawbacks, it really would be a great system for them.

Great Stroller, Fantastic Storage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 7 month old and a 2.5 year old and the stroller works great for each - we can easily put the car seat in the stroller for the 7 month old, she also is just beginning to sit in the stroller on her own without the car seat and she seems very comfortable in it. Our toddler sometimes uses this stroller from time to time and she can easily climb up on her own to get in the stroller. This is a really great stroller. It feels like really solid construction and like the ride is really smooth. I LOVE the ample storage space underneath. In our first stroller we had to do so much work to shove our not very big diaper bag under the stroller, and that's ALL that would fit, but with this stroller there is PLENTY of space even with our diaper bag. When we're out and about we can easily store our diaper bag, coats, the baby carrier, and there's room to spare. I also really like the very wide and big sun shade. Note, I received this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Smooth ride and great storage space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I receive this travel system for the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was very excited to try it out! Assembly of the stroller was very user friendly and took very little time to complete. In comparisons to other travel systems, I really appreciate the large sun shade and very ready under stroller storage area. The storage area was significantly larger than other ones I've seen and allowed for easy access to diaper bags and blankets. My 9 month old loved the beverage tray, as he enjoys feeding himself from the tray. The ride was very smooth and the pivoting front wheels made turns very easy. The car seat is easy to install and I had no issues taking it in and out.

Going places!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been so impressed with the Modes Element LX Travel System in getting around with my 8 month old. The directions were very clear and assembly was much easier than I had anticipated! I'm very petite, and sometimes have trouble with larger travel systems, but have been able to navigate this with no problem. The overall design is polished and easy to use. The basket is a great size and fits my diaper bag easier with room for much more. I love the adjustable nature of the infant car seat and all of the different strap heights available as my child continues to grow. The mechanism for tightening the straps once the baby is inside is the easiest I've used so far and makes me feel more secure that she's in there tightly! The stroller rides really smoothly and since the wheels look so durable I wasn't worried at all pushing over rocks and sand. The only thing that took a little getting used to was that the brakes are on the individual wheels, instead of across the axl. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system!

Great functions

I was given this stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This stroller is great, it is the perfect stroller that you can keeps for years and years and don't have to keep wasting money on new strollers. It has the capability to put a infant seat in it ( which to be honest I have not tested because my son is older, but I have one on the way so I'm excited I will be able to use it then). That will save a lot of money. It moves very easily and what I really liked about it was I was able to push it with my hand while I was walking which some strollers you are not able to do that with. It was very smooth and easy to push. My son really seemed to love it, you can adjust the seat to lean back or be forward so if he wanted to take a nap it was very convenient. Also the straps were perfect for him, I've had trouble with other strollers straps falling off my son, but this one was perfect. It also was fairly easy to fold up, and I also liked that I could fold it up and it would stand by itself. The one thing that probably could be a little better, the shade part I wish was a little better, I don't know if it's just because it was in the box folded weirdly but it kind of is wrinkled and just kind of droopes a little.
