Awesome Graco Travel Stroller System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This travel system is good bang for the buck! I'm on my second baby and we had a different brand travel system with the first child. What I liked right away about this Graco Modes Element DLX is the stylish design, it is so modern and gender neutral! The basket storage space underneath is generously large. The car seat is very comfy for my littlest man but the straps are difficult to tighten and loosen as the release button to pull them is hidden by fabric and just doesn't easily work. The car seat base is simple enough to install in the car and it easily clicks right into the stroller! I love being able to transfer my baby from car to stroller, especially while he's sleeping! The modular design of the stroller is perfect because the toddler seat can face forward or backwards which is a huge plus because as babies become toddlers they much prefer looking outward! The brakes on the stroller are difficult to release because there are two individual brakes on each side meaning you have to release two instead of just one which is just a pain frankly. My 3 yr old was very excited about the toddler seat and wanted to sit in it to watch TV after we first put it together! The stroller is lightweight and fits easily in trunk space, especially because you are separating the frame and seats to fold it up but this is easily done in seconds. Overall, this is an excellent travel system for the price and will see many years of use! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

Quit your search, this is it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried multiple strollers, even some with a very high price point and I just couldn't find one I loved. That is, until I got to try this one out! It's so quick and easy to connect the infant seat to the stroller frame. No additional parts are necessary, unlike another pricey brand I tried. I love that the toddler seat can recline flat and turn into a bassinet of sorts for a newborn. The ability to turn the toddler seat forward or rear-facing is a plus.I love how easy it is to fold and stands once folded, making it easy to get in and out of the car. The infant seat is well made, yet light weight and sturdy. I felt that they straps seemed a bit flimsy compared to another seat we love. However, the splitter plate is slightly different and makes removing the straps a breeze. The canopy is huge and provides ample protection from the elements. The multiple position handle makes it easy to carry and get baby in and out. Baby looks comfortable in the seat and doesn't seem to have any issues with it. Plus I love the design on the underside of the canopy. It's different than any other design I've seen and is the perfect neutral pattern. I received this travel system to review as part of the weespring parent panel.

Great, lightweight travel system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing this product as a first-time mom with a 7-month-old girl who is all about travel. We live in a rural neighborhood and primarily use our stroller for walks outside and some shopping or errand running in town. Prior to the Modes Element Travel System, I have used a competing brand with a jogging stroller. The stroller was easy to assemble and took less than 30 minutes! Compared to my jogging stroller it is SUPER lightweight and easy to fold, carry and stow. However, the best feature of this stroller is the ability to turn the seat from forward to rear facing. What a treat! In order to turn the seat around you simply press the gray tabs on the side and lift up, flip the seat around and reinsert the tabs. Talk about easy! I preferred the use of the rear facing when out and about but my daughter loves to ride around in the stroller in our home and we use the forward facing for this. The storage basket beneath the stroller was a great size. What made it work better was that the seat was a little higher up so in addition to the basket being larger it was deeper top to bottom as well. I could easily place my diaper backpack and winter coat in the basket and not have to shove it in. Both of the parent and child trays were great! They were solid plastic and removable which made them easy to clean in the case of accidental spills and sticky hands. Just pop them off and rinse them in the sink. The car seat was lightweight and also had a great sunshade! The sunshade pulled forward without getting hung on the handle which was a nice feature. Overall the car seat was pretty basic but did the trick. The base was easy to install in the car using my vehicle's LATCH system. Another great feature of this system is the ability to hook the car seat directly into the stroller without the stroller seat in place. This streamlined the stroller and made it even more lightweight when out and about. A couple of cons to consider about this travel system. First is the smoothness of the ride. Compared to my jogging stroller, the bumps of even basic sidewalk walking were intense. Fortunately, my little one didn't mind but she jiggled the entire way when we strolled outside. Another con was the brakes. Even with the brakes engaged you could still scoot the stroller, no matter the surface. I think this has more to do with the smooth tires in the back as the brakes were clearly locked. Overall this was a great addition to our mobile family! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system!

Durable easy to use travel system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This travel system is very easy to use. It went together quite easily; my husband put it together with very little instructions. It is easy to change to the different modes available. The canvas material is a very good quality. I like the mesh peek-a-boo window. It's a nice size. The stoller worked for both my tall husband (6'4") and myself (5'5"). The car seat easily clicks into place in either mode. The tray for parent and child is very handy. The stroller folds easily and has nice sized plastic tires that can go over small changes in terrain. The car seat installs easily with LATCH. There isn't has much padding as other car seats, but still comfy for the little one. The only complaint would be that the straps on the stroller are a little difficult to change to different positions which is not a huge deal. The slits seem to be just a bit too small so you have to yank on them to pull them through. It's definitely a durable travel system.

Great stroller with amazing features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure; I received this stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Since the moment I received the box I loved the fact that the whole travel system came in the ONE box. This already spoke to me about it not being bulky; which was a true statement once we assembled the stroller. Assembly was easy and learning all the tips and tricks to the stroller was really straight forward/learned as we were putting it together. There were so many things I liked about this stroller like the fact that the adapter to the carseat was already included, or being able to switch the seat face forward or backwards, the reclining feature on the seat to convert to a bassinet (whomever thought of this was a genius), the huge storage basket, the parents console (!!!) and of course the ONE HAND fold! Really the only thing I didn't like that was the fact that you must take off the seat in order to fold the stroller - which in my opinion; depending on how you are using it, defeats the ease of the one hand fold! It rides super smooth, it is not too wide so it fits through all doors easily, and just like the carseat, it's super light! My favorite feature has got to be the way the whole travel system really just grows with your baby - I think it would be nice if they had a riding board or something like that to accommodate older siblings though so it would grow with your family as well.

Amazing Little Travel System! Easy to use! Awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Graco Modes Element 3-in-1 travel is amazing! First off, it was very simple to put together with one person. The instruction manual is a little over simplified, but easy enough to understand and build the stroller and toddler seat quickly. All in all it took only about 10 minutes to completely assemble and mess around with the different configurations. This system includes a stroller, toddler seat, infant carrier seat and the car base for the infant carrier. Once it's all put together, it really does feel well built. The one downside I can find is that most of the pieces are plastic. I'd worry about its overall longevity. Since most strollers and these systems are mostly plastic anyways, I'm sure it will be fine. Maybe the part I'm most worried about are the wheel release buttons for the front wheels since they are awfully thin. Other than that, I'm sure this will hold up for as long as it will be needed. The stroller includes a parent tray with two cup holders and space to stash few little items. There's also a tray for the toddler seat that holds the same. The cup holders aren't very large, but can get the job done for smaller bottles and cups of coffee. There's a large mesh basket under the seat that's great for a diaper bag, purse, backpack or whatever other large items you may want to take with you and not carry. Both the toddler seat and infant carrier go on and remove from the stroller with ease. There are two factors about this system that I love over other travel systems, and in particular, our own stroller. Firstly, the stroller can be folded up with the toddler seat left on and even the tray! I can't even begin to explain how easy it is to fold up, lock, and then unlock and unfold! It's magnificent. Without having to take off any pieces is by far the best part! Other great factor I love about this stroller and system, is the fact that the infant carrier can be attached to the stroller with the toddler chair still connected! What?! Absolutely amazing! No more misplacing or damaging the toddler seat because it has been hiding some where when it was first taken off so the infant carrier can go on! Maybe it's just me, but this really excited me! Now don't get me wrong there is only one small downside and that is you can only connect the infant carrier on top of the toddler seat in the reverse position. Now that didn't bother me because I'd rather look at my baby/infant when out and about anyways, but that's the only downside I could really think of. Other niceties include brakes on both tires and a large canopy on both the carrier and seat (seat canopy has peek through window). My twins are just about a year old so we didn't get to test the fit of the toddler seat, but it has many positions for sitting and reclining as well as a five point harness. The foot rest can also be latched upward when reclining to provide more protection from your child slipping out. Both babies are getting tall enough that they won't fit in the carrier much longer, but that's also the case with our other carriers. We took a stroll a day for two weeks in this, swapping babies out each time and we didn't get a single complaint from either one of them. It handle nicely, brakes were easy to engage and disengage, overall it was a good experience. There are a couple of things I wish this had that the models up from this had. One is the extending handle bar, which I know comes on the LX/.DLX models of this travel system. The second item would be some sort of suspension. This would help with going over different terrain or just the expansion joints in sidewalk. That feature I'm not sure is available on either model, but was just comparing to my other stroller. The car base for the carrier doesn't take up much space and installs quickly. It has levels and a booster to help get everything nicely balanced. The car seat comes in and out easily so no problems with this at all. I feel the carrier could use a little more padding all the way around, but it's not like there is none. That's just a personal preference though I wouldn't really know as I can't fit in it! Ha! All in all, I'd gladly recommend this travel system to anyone who just had a child and would like one easy system that's nice, got great features and will be there through the years without having to buy a bunch of different products. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system. Heck, I loved this system so much I even got one for a friend that just had a child and her and her husband haven't stopped thanking us and discussing it with us since!

Good Travel System for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly could have been made easier if parts were preassembled in a bigger box. The directions needed to be more clear for assembling the wheels and axels and the corresponding pins should have been clearer as the pins were in a bag in a larger bag that could easily have been thrown out. Assembly issues aside the stroller is easy to push. It navigates well and my toddler is secure in it. I also really like the storage space on the bottom of the stroller. It's huge while still taking up a small foot print. Having a car seat that can be moved from car to stroller is extremely useful. This is a great system, especially considering it is very affordable compared to other travel systems. While I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel my opinions are my own.

Gets the Job Done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very lucky to receive this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The stroller and car seat work very well together. For taking a quick trip to the store/mall/wherever you need to go and don't want to take your little one out of the car seat, this is perfect. As the title of my review says, it gets the job done. Car seat: The Graco Snugride Snuglock 35 is hands down one of the best car seats on the market. I am so impressed with it! There is nothing "fancy" about it; it has excellent crash test ratings and safety features (I did my research), which is what makes it one of the best. It's lightweight, has a large canopy that shades my little guy well, and a nice, neutral stripe print that my two month old focuses on, so it keeps him pretty entertained. He also looks pretty comfortable in it. Installing the car seat into the car without the base (so seat belt only) is easy, but taking the seat belt off was a pain. The seat belt got stuck under the pathway where it hooks when I was trying to take it out of the car so I had to awkwardly maneuver it to get it out. My little one was very unimpressed. That said, I definitely prefer using a base with it. Installing the base in the car was a breeze. The car seat clicks into it no problem. It does take a tiny amount of wiggling to get it off of the base. It also takes a little bit of work to attach it to the stroller, but that's to be expected with these types of car seat adapters. Stroller: The stroller rides pretty smoothly. I love the full recline feature so I can put my baby in there, especially when he's fussy and I need to calm down. Just walking it around the house helps him. It is easy to steer and maneuver, I just don't know how well it's going to hold up in the long run. I love that this stroller comes with a parent's tray and tray for the toddler seat so there's no need to purchase them separately (thank you Graco). The basket underneath is VERY roomy. It's easy to remove the toddler seat and reverse it when you want. The one-hand fold is a great feature and folds up nicely for easy storage. The only thing that really bothers me about this stroller is that it looks nicer than it feels. Not the best of materials are used on this travel system, but again, it gets the job done well. Overall, it's a good travel system. Separately, I love the car seat, and while the stroller has great features, it doesn't feel as sturdy as it looks.
