Versatility that is easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Modes(TM) Element DLX Travel System has so many configuration options, and transitioning between them is so smooth. The Click Connect base makes it very easy to get the car seat in and out of the car, especially in rainy Portland. Because of the one handed release of the stroller, you can easily pull the car seat out of the trunk, flip it open, and lock in the car seat in 60 seconds. The bucket part of the car seat is snug, in the best ways, and hugs my baby's core; Which she loves, and falls asleep often. I also love the reversible stroller seat. Often I have a hard time seeing/hearing what my toddler is talking about when we are out on walks. When he's facing me, our conversations and communications are so much easier. The only struggle I had was finding the wheel pins when assembling the stroller. I knew they were tiny, and I could not find them. I eventually found them sealed in red plastic on the edge of the bag. I also love that the stroller seat fully reclines for walking naps and is just as easy to sit up. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.
Highly recommend! 👍
We have been using it for more than a year on the Graco Modes Element Travel System, and here's my honest review! Top-notch! The 5-point harness and snug lock ensure my little one is secure. Plus, it meets all the safety standards, which is a huge relief. 🙌 It's like a mini lounge for my baby. The padded seat and multi-position recline make every ride super comfy. Perfect for those long strolls. 🛋️ Built to last! The materials are high quality, and it feels really sturdy. No worries about it breaking down anytime soon. 💪 Surprisingly lightweight! It folds easily and fits nicely in the trunk. A lifesaver for busy moms and dads on the go 🚗 So much room! The large basket underneath holds all my essentials, from diapers to snacks. Never have to worry about running out of space. 🎒 Overall, the Graco Modes Element Travel System is a must-have for any parent looking for safety, comfort, and convenience. 👌
Awesome, Flexible Travel System
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a straight up excellent travel system - lightweight, flexible, and user friendly. Installing the carseat base was a breeze - literally the easiest installation I have ever attempted. I appreciated that the seat left plenty of space for me to comfortably position and recline the driver's seat as well. Where this system really shines though is the stroller - it combines the lightweight portability of a car seat frame with the benefits of a full size stroller thanks to the easily removable seat. I have been keeping the seat and the frame in my trunk and either using it as a rear facing stroller or a car seat frame depending on whether my son is asleep or awake when we arrive at our destination. The seat rear facing has been perfect for walks around the neighborhood too - this has become my default stroller, not something I usually associate with a travel system! The storage is amazing, not just for the size but for the accessibility. Large, bulky items easily fit into the carry basket without having to jam them under the seat and risk disturbing your sleeping infant. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, who provided this item for free in exchange for my honest review.
Smooth ride and great storage space!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I receive this travel system for the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was very excited to try it out! Assembly of the stroller was very user friendly and took very little time to complete. In comparisons to other travel systems, I really appreciate the large sun shade and very ready under stroller storage area. The storage area was significantly larger than other ones I've seen and allowed for easy access to diaper bags and blankets. My 9 month old loved the beverage tray, as he enjoys feeding himself from the tray. The ride was very smooth and the pivoting front wheels made turns very easy. The car seat is easy to install and I had no issues taking it in and out.
Amazing for any family!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely loved this travel system! Graco is a brand we love and trust so I had pretty high expectations for this system, WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! First we loved the car seat! It was incredibly easy to install, and the car seat was easy to remove from the car and place into the stroller. I absolutely loved this because there were times that my daughter was sleeping in the car and I didn't have to wake her by taking her out of the car seat to put into the stroller! The stroller seat, let me say it can not stop raving about this, is so practical and such a great idea! There were so many options! This stroller was amazing for us! My daughter is 10months and going through separation anxiety sot he option to have her facing us was a life saver! She was so content to be in the stroller because she could see us! I also have a 3 yr old so it was super convenient to be able to flip the seat around so that he didn't have to face us! I was amazed at how well both kids fit into the seat! The stroller it's self was incredibly easy to steer, which helped in large crowds, and it was super easy to fold and unfold with one hand, which was great as a mom! It has a ton of room in the undercarriage enough for winter coats, and a large backpack/diaper bag. Overall we were very impressed with this stroller and are grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this amazing system in exchange for our review!
Pleasantly Surprised by new Travel System
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently Stellar Product Testing Panel gave me the opportunity to try out and review the Modes Element DLX Travel System. Being a mom of three kiddos, aged 3, almost 2, and nearly 2 months old, it is important that I have a quality travel system that is easy to use. I need to be able to get out of the house, run errands, take my kiddos to their classes and activities, all while sustaining my sanity. I was pleasantly surprised by this travel system because, I've become so fond of the system I've used since my first baby was born, that I didn't think that another company could outdo it, but I was wrong. The first aspect of the Modes system that surprised me was the fact that the car seat is not only quality made, but it's also lighter than any infant car seat that I've used regularly, or temporarily borrowed. What I've observed, in the past, is that you either get quality materials that are heavy, or you get a lighter product that seems to be made with cheap materials. The Modes car seat is solid, has comfortable padding for baby, feels secure and well made, and is light and easy to carry with one arm. More great features of the cars seat include, how easy it is to put it in and take it out of the car, when using the base, and how easy it is to secure baby and take her out of it. Once I had the base installed in my vehicle, the car seat only needed to be set on the base, listening for the click, that alerts you that the seat is secure. Taking the car seat out is as simple as pulling the easy to use release, and lifting the car seat. Installing the base was a bit difficult, but that was because I have very little space to maneuver, as we have three car seats across our second row in our mid-sized suv. If I had space on both sides to work with, installing the base would've been simple and easy. I found that I really enjoyed the stroller that came with this travel system as well. It has an incredible amount of storage space below the seat, which is essential when you have as many little ones as I do. I had plenty of space for our diaper bag, blankets, drinks, etc. The car seat easily mounts into the stroller, so going from the car to stroller is quick. The only thing I'd change about the stroller is making the stroller fold down smaller. Although, I'm not sure that that is possible. I think you either have to sacrifice the size of storage on the stroller to have it be more compact, or you have to sacrifice the space that a bigger stroller takes up, to have more storage. Overall, I would definitely recommend this travel system to anyone who inquire about it. I look forward to using it daily with my baby and putting my old faithful car seat away for only occasional use.
Awesome travel system!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have two year old twins and a 6 month old baby, so I've tried multiple strollers and this one is my new favorite. I love the versatility of the stroller! This travel system literally grows with your baby. You can snap in either the car seat or the toddler seat and both have the option to be outward facing or facing in toward you so you can smile at your baby as you stroll. Changing out the seats is super simple and I love that the toddler seat comes with a removable tray with space for sippy cups and snacks. The stroller is easy to steer, has space to put your things like drinks and your phone, has a great sun/weather shade for your baby, and is very easy to collapse to store. I was impressed by how little space it takes up when folded up for storage or for travel in the trunk of your car. This is important to me because we have a lot of baby gear and limited space to put things. The infant car seat is sleek and comfy and the base is very easy to install in the car. It's awesome you can literally take your car seat of the car and then click the seat right onto the stroller base. Makes life simpler! My baby loves riding in this stroller too, so it's a win for all of us.
Good for price- many options others don't have
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stroller, car seat, and base system!! Great mid priced option! Perfect for a first time parent, a second stroller, or a family that only needs stroller space for 1. Much nicer than my first stroller, but doesn't have as many options as some of the pricy ones. For the money, this gives lots of ease and convenience. Many things are included (different from competitor strollers where you have to buy each piece separately- that adds up quickly). The child tray is perfect for snacks, drinks, toys- moves up to get an able child in and out- and quickly slips off if unwanted. The parent tray is very handy for phone, drinks, keys, etc. My favorite feature is the huge bottom basket that lets you store so much. Lots of space for diaper bag, snack bag, shopping bags, jackets, and much more. This stroller looks stylish and functional. You can set the infant car seat right into the stroller seat, OR you can remove the stroller seat and place the infant car seat right onto the stroller frame. Such flexibility! Theres multiple options with this stroller. Also, the seat can be used for toddlers. My 3 year old was tired of walking, so I placed my baby into her carrier and wore her- while my 3 year old enjoyed a comfortable ride in the stroller! We like the ample shade hood that protects from the wind, rain, sun- there's a little window that lets me see through to baby. The one handed fold was difficult, I honestly needed two hands to fold it. But, once folded, stroller did stand upright- making storage in the garage or SUV easier. The infant car seat is easy to install into the car. Using the LATCH system to attach the base into the car, the base will level to allow safe installation. Then, just drop the infant car seat into the base. It will click in, and you are good to go. A simple push of the button lets you remove the baby car seat with ease. Grandparent, babysitter, and dad safe- this is a no-brainer! I love that this infant bucket car seat can be used up to a weigh of 35 pounds- much higher than my last 2 infant buckets. Very helpful! I had one baby that was quite heavy, and exceeded the weight requirements of the competitor infant bucket- though he still needed that type of car seat. Also innovative is the shade of the car seat. It can be adjusted and rotates, truly allowing you to shade the baby in multiple directions and positions (handy in the car and if using in the stroller as well). One consideration- there are no shock absorbers- so this stroller may be better for in town, mall, paved park paths- may be tricky to take this off road or to more unpredictable surfaces. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to try out these great Graco products! P.S. The Graco site that sells this package has the link to only the Element stroller instructions, but not the SnugRide 35 infant car seat instructions. You can always find the car seat instructions by searching for just the car seat as this is sold as a separate stroller, separate car seat, or as a package. I tested it as a package.
Great for babies and toddlers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a toddler and a 6 month old, and I really like this travel system for both ages, so I know I'll be using it for a LONG time. It's really easy to switch between the car seat setup and the full stroller setup, which is a plus for us because we switch back and forth a number of times a week depending on what we're doing and who gets to be the one strolling :) The blue was a really nice color and it feels high-end. I particularly like the car seat/stroller set up. My 6 month old is really long/tall, and he is super comfortable in the car seat. The canopy on the car seat is AWESOME because it has a number of settings that it clicks into, so it never starts retracting like our last car seat. We live in a particularly sunny area so the shade that the canopy provides is extra important to us. The stroller is a really smooth ride... so easy to use on walks to the farmers market or the post office, and the basket below is big enough to throw a bunch of stuff underneath. It also has the snack tray and the parent console included, which is really helpful since with other brands you have to buy those things separately. Super grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to test this travel system.
Perfect for quick errands and taking strolls!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Life Safety Educator and Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician for a busy fire department, I am a huge fan of the Graco Snugride. It is very simple to install with both the safety belt and the LATCH system. This particular model is great because it allows you to adjust the incline of the base, which is often a feature left out of other models. Our family uses another brand for our infant car seat in my husband's vehicle, which I also love, but that carrier is so much heavier than the Graco Snugride carrier. I find it far more convenient to carry my baby around in the Graco versus the strength it takes to carry her in the other one… which is why it's in my husband's truck instead! As a CPS tech, I adore car seats that don't come with all the extra bells and whistles because I feel that parents oftentimes install them incorrectly. I love the simplicity of this car seat and it provides for less installation failures. I am a big fan of baby carrying and until I received this stroller, I had never used one before. Fortunately, I received it right before the coronavirus outbreak happened in my community. I have never been more thankful for a baby item since I had our child 6 months ago. I try not to keep her in her car seat for too long, but while I was making runs to the grocery store or library (before social distancing was encouraged), I was able to avoid making unnecessary contact with my baby and keep her protected in her “bubble” when we went out. Sometimes I had a hard time easily clicking the car seat into the stroller system, as you have to line it up perfectly before it snaps in. I'm sure with practice this gets much easier. Once she was snapped in, I thought the stroller moved very smoothly and turns did not require any effort. It does not weigh much, which is one of my favorite features about this system. I live on open space in the foothills of Colorado, so I didn't get any use of this stroller on trails or uneven terrain. On pavement and in stores it was excellent. It takes up a bit of space in the back of my Honda Pilot, but very easy to open and close quickly. My favorite configuration to use is the infant car seat attached to the stroller as my baby is still very small and only 6 months old but I am looking forward to her toddler years and using the alternative seating options. I did not get a chance to use any of the storage options as our trips out were very short with the COVID-19 pandemic. I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and look forward to using this more toward the end of the summer when things calm down and my baby and I are no longer self-isolating.
