Affordable, lite and versatile system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have now used our Modes(TM) Element LX Travel System for approximately two weeks and there are more than a few reasons you should give this system your serious consideration when purchasing a car seat/stroller infant/toddler system. Apart from being affordable, it's a lite and versatile system that will serve your family for years. Let's start with some the aspects our family liked the most. First, the overall system is designed in such a way to make transitioning from car to stroller and car seat to toddler seat very easy Other systems require a number of adapters, add-ons and other parts to make their systems work for multiple children and multiple configurations. With the Modes(TM) Element LX Travel System, you can very quickly go from one configuration to the next without a lot of effort — very important when you have fussy kids ready to be on the move. Speaking of transitions, when it comes time to store the stroller in your trunk, it couldn't be any quicker and easier to fold up. When unfolding, the release latch is more conveniently located than other systems I've seen. This will keep you from pinching your fingers when folding and unfolding the system. Next, I found the storage options on the stroller to be a much nicer feature than other, more expensive strollers we have tested. The back of the stroller storage is lower and more open than other systems, which makes placing a large diaper bug under the stroller much easier than other systems we've tested. We came to appreciate this more and more as we used the Modes(TM) Element LX Travel System. Let's also talk about snack trays. We found ourselves using these more than I originally anticipated — not just for the kids — the parent tray is now a must-have feature for our walks to store a drink, cell phone, etc. Finally, the Modes(TM) Element LX Travel System made an excellent design choice to include canopies on the stroller and car seat that come down very far to shield your little one from the elements. Canopies on other car seats and strollers we've seen do not come down far enough to really block the sun out. Some times this means you have to use a blanket or move the stroller backwards to keep the sun out of our little one's face. Our only two concerns with the system involve the infant car seat. First, while the installation was not the most difficult we have ever seen, I would not describe it as the easiest to install. Because the base is large, installing this in a small sedan was challenging. Installing the base in our SUV was less challenging — so those with smaller vehicles should keep that in mind. Of course, if you do not plan on removing the base often, this should not be a big factor when deciding if this system is right for you. The other concern for small car owners is the width of the car seat itself. While this is surely a positive for little ones, it made the middle seat of our small sedan virtually unusable. I would guess a lot of car seats have this same challenge so it's not a dealbreaker. I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
Affordable and Stylish Travel System
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to be able to try the Graco Modes Element LX travel system as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was impressed with the stylish design and the various parent friendly features. We were able to use this stroller as a travel system and overall I found it easy to use. The parent tray was convenient but didn't fit as much as I hoped. The stroller was easy to put together and felt very sturdy. I loved the large storage basket under the seat. We primarily used the system with the car seat attached instead of the toddler seat but look forward to this growing as our little one grows up. Only two minor complaints- the handle didn't adjust- I'm 5'4" and my husband is 6'4", so it would have been nice for something to adjust to our heights and when the stroller arrived it had a really strong odor that took some airing out to get rid of. Overall, I was very impressed with the system and would highly recommend, especially for the price point!
Stroller/car seat combo
I don't think this product was worth the price. Wheels are not very good quality. I have been using the stroller for almost 5 months and they are wearing out quickly. Both the car seat and stroller are difficult. The car seat with getting the baby into it and getting it in and out of the car. The stroller is difficult in folding and unfolding it for storage and putting it in the trunk of my car.
Coolest Stroller on the block!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this stroller! It is an easy close and it closed pretty flat. My biggest love is the basket!!!! You can fit a ton down there and best of all, it is easy access. Its an open large basket. I enjoy the tray that is by the handles and it's a really nice looking stroller. The different seating options is also great for the different stages of your baby.
Great all around travel system!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am a mother of two, 3 years old and 10 months old. I mostly used the stroller for my youngest. My three year old really likes to just walk beside us so my review is mostly based on using it for a 10 month old. Pros: I loved the ability to easily switch the toddler seat from forward facing to rear facing. the click connect buttons on either side of the seat were super easy to use and smooth. My little guy really loved to be able to face me during our walks. This was definitely our favorite configuration and feature of this system. The seat is very easy to recline and reposition upward. I loved the infant carseat. The straps are easy to adjust and my baby seemed very comfortable in it. It is a breeze to click in and out of the stroller. I liked being able to click it right into the frame of the stroller with or without the toddler seat on. I preferred to use it with just the stroller frame. The base was also easy to install into the car. The included instructions were thorough and easy to follow. The storage basket is huge. I loved being able to toss a backpack right in there. I like the double cup holders on the parent tray. My little guy didn't get much use out of the child tray due to his age. He used it mostly to pull himself up. The stroller is also very easy to close and I liked that it stands up on its own when folded. It is also really easy to push with one hand but is a bumpy and noisy ride. Cons: I struggled with the break assembly of the stroller. I was unable to push the pins in without my husbands help and I don't consider myself very weak. However the instructions were very easy to follow. The toddler seat was far too small for my three year old, who is not very tall. The back of the seat is rather short which caused her head to rest on the canopy. I couldn't extend it over her without it resting against her head, causing her to crouch down. The fabric of the seat is spot clean only and isn't machine wash friendly. This is a feature I would suggest they add in the future.
Amazing all Around
After my husband accidentally ran over our tried and true Graco stroller rendering it difficult to use and manuver we had been on the lookout out for a new travel system when our new baby arrived. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel I was given this travel system to try and review, and it has been a dream! When we got the new system set up was a breeze and no tools required which was awesome! The car seat part of the system is great, much lighter than the one we had been using, and one thing I really liked was that the shade actually stayed in place rather than falling down like some others do. Putting the base in the car was easy, and the attached level was nice to let you know the angle was correct! As for the stroller I can't say enough how much I love it! I love that I can use it as a travel system, or use the seat as baby grows, and that baby can face toward you in the seat! I also love how easy it is to open and close, and the fact it stands by itself is a amazing, since that is how the last stroller got run over, but most of all the storage basket on bottom is a dream so much space to throw all our stuff below, but also is so easy to access unlike other strollers! Overall mama and baby love the Graco Modes Element Travel System, thank you to Stellar Testing Panel for letting me try it out!
Versatile Stroller for various ages
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So truth be told I have had a few different strollers, but my favorite brand has been Graco. I was so excited to receive the invite from the Stellar Product Testing Panel l to review the Graco Modes(TM) Element DLX Travel System. This comes with an infant car seat base and infant car carrier. This connects to your stroller in any of its forms for easy travel. In seconds you can have the stroller facing different directions and you have the choice to use the infant car carrier with the stroller or the stroller base. The material is easy to clean, having inserts that you can take off easily to wash, as well as providing moisture wicking material, which is such a great thing with a tiny child. I loved the different modes I could easily transform the stroller into, as well as how I could fold the stroller with one hand. My favorite version was the bassinet. As you would expect from Graco, you have a very smooth pushing experience. Wether I was pushing the baby or my toddler, it was a light and easy ride. The basket bellow is really large, It held my diaper bag and a full day of shopping bags. I feel like the canopy on the stroller and the infant car carrier was really large. for being such a deluxe stroller, the weight was very manageable. Overall this is a great all in one system that will not only be your go to stroller in the infant stage but will grow with your child. You want a stroller that is very easy to use and change as you need it, and this is the perfect fit.

Great starter set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a second time Mom I was excited to try out this new travel system! I moved our old set into Grandma's car and installed this one! Installation was pretty simple. I do love the click in system. The car seat snaps in easily as well. I am happy to report that the car seat itself is lighter weight than my previous one, so that makes in and out of daycare much easier. Once installed it didn't seem as tight but still felt secure. The canopy on this car seat blew me away! It's HUGE!! The adorable striped pattern underneath was also a stylish touch! I really enjoyed the stroller. I felt the baby was at a higher level compared to my previous travel system. This made me feel like I could engage with my baby more. The stroller itself had an extremely smooth ride and I enjoyed pushing it around the neighborhood. I loved that the attachment for the car seat was actually the child snack tray! No extra bar to try and find when using the stroller. I wish the handle was adjustable. My 6' husband would have liked having that option. Folding for travel was super easy! It's all in the handle bar! The storage basket underneath was very large but felt shallow. I think too much stuff might slide out. I did like the peekaboo window on the stroller. It was a breathable mesh with magnetic closure. No scratchy loud Velcro! As for the main stroller, I wanted to see if my 3 1/2 year old toddler could comfortably fit. He's 40 inches tall and his head was all the way touching the top. The manual says max height of 44 inches but I don't think my son was comfortable at 40. Overall I think is is a great set! Perfect for a new Mom (or Grandma!). I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am definitely letting others know about this system!
Great stroller, annoying car seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this travel system through the Stellar Products testing PanelThere are a lot of things i really like about this travel system, but there are definitely things im not a huge fan of. The stroller. Setting up the stroller was not as easy as I feel it should have been. The instruction manual was not very detailed at all and it definitely needed a little more information. Thankfully you really only have to set it up once so it's not a deal breaker, just be aware that it won't be the quickest set up. I HATE the nasty foam material the hand grip is! I feel like that stuff gets gross so fast and is hard to clean. The basket is nice and big which is great, but the back and front are a little low for my liking. The brakes are just the step push down brakes which I don't love because i struggle to get the brakes off again. Folding it is awesome! I love that it is self standing and locks really easily! The stroller seat is pretty nice too. I love that I dont need a separate seat for little babies i can just fold and recline the seat and in good. So nice. It's easy to use and feels like good quality. I like that it comes with the child and parent tray! I hate having to buy accessories desperate, but i didnt have to worry about that with this system. Walking with the stroller was nice and easy. Over all I like the stroller a lot. The car seat I dont like as much! The clips are fine and easy enough to use. But the visor is so cheap. It takes two hands to get it up or down evenly and it is super loud! I love the infant support pillow and that the head pillow is separate. I didn't really like how it released from the base it wasn't as easy as i would have liked. Also I really don't like the latch system. The like the latch with the easy remove buttons because we move car seats around a lot. I also struggled to get it tight enough. Also removing the latched base was really hard. It loosening part was so close to the plastic side that I could hardly get my fingers in to push it. It took me several minutes to get it out of the car! One of the things i hated the most was putting in/removing the car seat in the stroller with the stroller seat on. It was so awkward to me. If the baby was asleep before I tried he definitely wasnt by the time I was done!!!
