You put one or two depending on the size of load into the washer. Turn on water and put in the clothes. These didn't leave any residue on my clothes. It cleaned them just as well as the pods or liquid. They are better for the environment and are unscented. Which is great for people with sensitive skin like my husband. I will definitely buy these again.

These pads disappear and leave the clothes very clean. It doesn't have any smell. Clothes just smell clean. You need 1 for every medium wash or 2 if it's a big load.
