Bought this Sony DVD player to replace one that we gave away to a family member. We wanted to buy an inexpensive one that was dependable and would upscale to 1080p. We use it in our bedroom and it works as advertised.

Unit worx well w no issues so far! We were concerned in the beginning cuz its less than the size of our old model, but she worx like a charm, yay! Thx

Small, compact, I have a very small area for a player this fits perfectly. Clear picture, works with all my dvds. This is my 2nd Sony of this type, had no problems with them

I have purchased earlier versions of this SONY DVD player with satisfactory results. The unit works well, but the one drawback to this model is that they did away with the LED display. Diminishing features with an increasing price.

If your old DVD won't hook up to your new tv or if it only plays in balcony and white, then this will be great for you. Just plug and play. You will need a hdmi cable, but that's all you'll need!

If you are looking for a simple no bells and whistles, reasonably priced CD/DVD player this is the one. Compact, has a menu to choose your preferences, works with most TV brands, comes with the remote control, all you need is a HDMI cable.

I just love this DVD player its very easy to operate it comes with the remote including batteries I love every inch of it I enjoy watching my movies in it.

We have always been happy with Sony and watch many, many DVDs as television is more than a wasteland. Have one in us and one for a backup. This is small, elegant and works like a champ. Really improves the quality of older DVDs. Great price.

I really like this DVD player. I chose this one for features and price. really like the fact that I can watch part of a movie and then restart right where I left off. Other players did not have this feature.

Pretty basic. Plays DVDs. Quality is probably what one should expect for the price. Okay for children's shows, etc. but not the quality for adults or older children to whom quality is important.
