[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second dvd of this kind that I have purchased from Walmart. It's easy to operate and it shows a great picture. This is my favorite DVD player

Didn't work. Couldn't get the remote to work at all. Could not navigate the DVD menu. Once we got a DVD to play it would only play for a few moments and then go back to the menu screen. Returning it.

The player works well. My complaint is that when you try to sync the remote with the TV set it won't work. I was informed by Sony that it will only sync with a Sony TV set. This was not stated in the DVD info prior to purchase.

Good buy so far now I need a better tv, mine is old and my Yellowstone dvd's appear too dark on my old tv. Not sure how long tv's last these days I've had this one for 10 or 12 years It's LG

We have always been happy with Sony and watch many, many DVDs as television is more than a wasteland. Have one in us and one for a backup. This is small, elegant and works like a champ. Really improves the quality of older DVDs. Great price.

I like the plug and play with the HDMI cable also the compact design of the player. Out of the box I was watching a movie in five minutes. The only thing I have against it is that it doesn't have a remote control code for my Vizio television.

To good to be true. Sony DVD Player for $40.00, it lasted 3 months and died. Buyer beware. Maybe that's why their return policy for electronics is 30 days.

This Sony meets my expectations. It works well, produces a good picture and resumes where I pause the program. I wish I'd bought it sooner and would buy it again.

I purchased this DVD player online. Got it home and the remote did not work, despite three sets of new batteries. I had to take it back and will look at something else or upgrade to higher quality/brand.
