You can't go wrong with Sony! It was easy to set up and it's easy to use. I originally purchased a different no name and could not get it connected. I needed a player with HDMI and I chose Sony because of the name. It worked! You can't go wrong

I bought this DVD player because I really needed a new one. It brings out the best quality picture on screen, easy to use remote, quiet and takes up very little space on my tv stand. Perfect!

This is basic DVD player FYI Not a Bluray disc player no way to upgrade firmware to play bluray and audio is basic as well for price just bought to use until 4K player arrives

Excited to get this player. Hooked it up, turned it on and nothing, nada. Wouldn’t even turn on. Bringing it back tomorrow and buying a different brand.

Very nice little DVD player.. Programming the Remote to work my TV was simple.. It upscales a standard DVD to HD... Although it is not even close to Blueray or anything like that, I do see a noticeable difference..

would not play any DVDs. after an hour of troubleshooting with a Sony tech by phone, he said it's defective, return it to Walmart, so that's what I'm doing. Same DVDs play great on our 15 year old DVD player, so we're keeping it.

Does not work with all commercial disks as advertised. Maybe it is part of that Sony paranoia about pirating. It seems the technology is preventing some legitimate older DVDs from being played. Upscaling not really noticeable.

This is a great little DVD player, but unfortunately, I was under the misunderstanding that I needed a Blu-ray player for my particular incident so make sure you know what you need before you buy but other than that it's a great little DVD player

I bought this DVD player to put in my workshop/Garage to play my CDs when I'm working on my projects. Works great and was a good price. Completely satisfied. Will also use it for DVDs as well.
