Even Better Version of the Pack N Play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a regular Pack N Play with my first child. Every parent knows they are useful both at home and while traveling. You can use them as a bed, as a play pen, a diaper changing station, and as a place to throw all of the kids toys! Lol. So what did I think of this version of the Pack N Play with the Dome while using it with my second child? I like.... *the portable dome because it was easy to take with me upstairs and outside. it gave a safe place for my child to be when I need both of my hands. * that the portable dome was study. *the bassinet area was larger than I remember my last one being, and it was flat instead of inclined so it was safer for baby. *the cute detailed design. *easy set up and take down. I did not like.... *that the diaper organizer was kind of flimsy and not that useful. It seemed like it was just extra and that it was unnecessary. *that they still don't make a carrying case where you can put ALL of the accessories in. Overall, I think the Dome attachment is a huge positive addition to the Pack N Play system, and the larger, flat bassinet was also a good improvement. A stand alone dome like the attachment on this is expensive, so to get it as part of a Pack N Play system is really a deal. I received this product to review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
A must have for all parents!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Graco pack 'n play Travel Dome playyard is an absolute must-have for all parents and caregivers!! My baby is now just over a year old so we no longer use the portable bassinet portion of the set BUT she adores it as a bed for her babies so it still gets daily use! She has a blast lifting the hood up over her babies so they can go "night night". <3 It is so sweet to see her practicing to be a big sister since we plan to use it for baby number 2! Since it is so well made it will be put to good use for years to come! We also still use the playyard portion of the pack 'n play when we need to keep our little one contained for her own safety while I'm cleaning and she will even ask to go in her "fort" to read and have a little quiet time before naps and bedtime. My favorite feature of this pack 'n play set is it's versatility!! It can truly be used for years and because the bassinet portion is portable, it can be used for two children at once making it a great addition to a multi-child household!! Thank you to stellar reviews for providing this pack n play as a part of a parent testing panel! I will be purchasing one for a close friend for her new baby!! <3
Nice options and classy look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleased to try this pack 'n play as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall this is a classy looking pack 'n play with a lot of nice features. The basic playard is a nice size and has the net and support system to raise the mattress to function like a bassinet. It comes with an attachable/detachable change station, a portable, basket style bassinet, and a parent organizer that clips onto the side of the playard. Like all pack 'n plays that I am aware of, the playard folds nicely with the mattress into a protective slipcover with a handle for easy transportation and storage. The portable bassinet also folds down after assembly and can be placed in its own carry bag. This is really nice for very young babies because you don't have to take the whole big playard; you can just take the bassinet part in it's carry bag when you want to travel a little lighter. One thing I don't love is that the extra accessories besides the bassinet unit (i.e. changing table, net support system for raising the play yard mattress, and parent organizer) do not come with any special trick or way to store them so you end up with a neatly stored pack 'n play and bassinet and then a pile of netting, poles, and other units that don't fold up and just sit in a jumbled mess when not in use. This bugs me but I don't know of any other pack 'n play that's any different so I'm not sure how much I can really fault this one for it. The only additional complaint I have is that this one seemed a bit of a pain to assemble initially. Once I re-read the instructions I realized I had been putting a couple pieces together the wrong way but I felt the instructions were not always super clear. I think this playard would be great for families who want to forgo a traditional crib and have a smaller, all-in-one option. The portable bassinet really is a nice touch and has me thinking I might get rid of the larger bassinet I have used for my older kiddos. All in all, if you want a portable playard, this would be a nice one to consider because of the flexibility and many options it provides.
Game Changer
I received this Pack 'n Play thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel and am completely in love! The adorable pattern looks like decor in my home, not like a kiddie product. It is so sturdy as well as being light enough to easily carry for travel. The basinet is so cute as well as extremely cozy and safe. The pockets next to the changing station are genius and convenient. I love that I can have a set up downstairs for changing and napping baby that can come with me from room to room.
Love the versatility!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Pack 'n Play for my first grandbaby so he can visit as often as possible. The side pockets for storage are so handy for diapers, wipes, etc. and the changing area is the perfect height and size. I wish these had been available back when my kids were little!
Convenient at all stages
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the features that this Pack 'n Play offer. The bassinet is a great addition that is also portable. My daughter is able to sleep and play in it attached to the Pack 'n Play or separate in other areas of our home. It was difficult to attach at first, there is a groove that it needs to click into otherwise it is unstable, once we figured that out it was really easy to use and transport. The drop down insert is so convenient and great when baby is so little. We used it for a long time when my daughter outgrew her bassinet and just recently removed it when my daughter became more mobile. I received this as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I'm so glad we got the chance to try out these additional features.
Modern, elegant, Chic, and cozy for baby!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this play yard, there are a lot of new design features that I love. If I had to choose a favorite it, it would be the bassinet. The first feature that I love is that the bassinet sits on a secure locking rim of the pack and play. When you take it apart you squeeze and lift the locking handles of the bassinet. The next feature that I love is how plush and soft the bassinet bottom is that my little one sleeps on. When my babe falls asleep in the bassinet, I can see him from the couch because the bassinet is both raised and made of breathable woven mesh. You can tell that a lot of experts put a lot of thought into the design because right above the baby's eye level there is a band of uv protected fabric to help shield the baby from sun in their eyes while using it outside. The same fabric is above the bassinet like a stroller hood that blocks the sun and has a tiny mobile of toys that dangle from it. The next feature that I love on this is the mommy organizer, which clips on the side of the pack and play. I clipped it next to the diaper changing pad for convenience. I put diapers, wipes, and diaper creams in the pockets. I love bringing the daybed into the kitchen while I am making baby food or the laundry room. Being able to keep a close eye on the baby while letting him play or sleep in the bassinet is crucial with being a single mom. I wish I had this pack and play sooner because my son is tall like his 5'11” mom and probably will outgrow the bassinet around the 7.5 month age mark when he starts crawling. Whenever I take it out of the house, it disassembles and reassembles quickly. Now that the weather is warming up, I have moved it outside with me while I am cleaning the garage out. Thus, the dome goes wherever I go with my baby!! If I had a design suggestion to make this better, it would be a vibration setting to the bassinet. The vibes help my baby calm down when mad or overtired and aide in helping him sleep longer. Additionally, it would be awesome if Graco sold accessories for when the baby is larger, and outgrows the infant bassinet inserts. For instance a sun shade canopy to attach to the top while outside would be awesome. If I had to find a flaw I would say it was very tricky to put together the accessories. In general, Graco Pack and Plays are very durable. I have found that if you take good care of them, they can last 10-15 years. My mom does home daycare and has had some last for 20 years. Since I am a single mom, I am short on extra eyes to watch the little one. Having a pack and play with a bassinet has made my life so much easier simply by being able to bring him with me in it. I foresee that I will be using this for the next 4 years as a safe place to put my son down to play, for a nap, a bed while traveling, and while outdoors. The colors and pattern on the play yard are very soft, modern, elegant and chic. I love how Graco pack and play colors have matured and went from royal blue and bubblegum pinks to soft grey and white. I absolutely hate having kids stuff turn my home into a play house. This blends in with my couch and furniture and is soft on the eyes. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this Graco Dome Deluxe Pack and Play Yard to test and review.
The Dome Is Everything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am LOVING this Graco Pack N Play Travel Dome DLX playard! I was most excited to get this because I have been eyeing the On-The-Go Baby Dome and this pack n play voids the need for that! Anyone wanting a portable baby dome who also needs a pack n play this is probably the right product for you. I'll start by saying the dome was very hard to setup. I had to involve my husband which any stubborn woman probably hates to do and even he had trouble assembling it. Once that came together the rest was easy. Besides for the dome it's a pretty standard pack n play with the baby changing station and the little attachable cubby to hold diapers/wipes/creams. I find these types of pack n plays a must with a new baby in our two floor home. I love having a spot set up downstairs so I don't need to go up and down for diaper changes and leave the rest of the tribe unattended. The Dome is really what sets this apart from the rest of the pack n plays we've seen. It detaches, the legs fold down nicely and it comes with it's own carrying bag which makes it so convenient for travel. For a spring or summer baby the UV canopy will let baby enjoy the fresh air without worry about a sunburn. I'm sure our baby will be spending a lot of time in this through the summer and fall months! I also like the size of the playard and am so happy it is lightweight so I can carry it and also hold my toddlers hand! Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for the product in exchange for my review!
LOVE LOVE LOVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy I invested in this pack n play. I researched many before I made a purchase. It's so versatile. Great for two story houses. You have a bassinet, changing table and play area all in one without having to carry all kinds of equipment up and down stairs!
As Expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cons: -A learning curve is needed for set up. -Smallish changing pad Pros: -Will hold up from newborn to toddler. -Two carry bags. Love how portable this is and how it can be used from day one to the toddler years. I'm experienced with setting up Pack n Plays so, it wasn't an issue for me, but other family members needed assistance. The bassinet, is that exactly, it is only going to hold your baby for a short time. Being able to choose between taking the bassinet vs the entire pack n play was invaluable. Also, loved the neutral color palette and the built in organization on the side. I wish the changing area was larger, especially with a squirmy little one. Overall, I would recommend this product to a family that travels often or needs to set up multiple baby safe spaces in their home. I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, my opinion is truthful and my own.
