I really like all the different settings for movement this swing offers. Seems to be comfortable for our son. There are a few things that I do not like: 1. The swing should be less noisy. 2. Movement isn't as smooth as it should be. The swing shakes a little as it swings. 3. It's so hard to get the rocket out of the base. It's a hassle that we don't like to fool with, which is a shame because now I'm looking into buying a separate rocker/bouncer. If we have another baby, I think we will end up buying a different swing that doesn't have the cons outlined above. Overall the swing is ok, but there are better options out there for the price.

Overall I'm impressed but it's a little noisy and jerks sometimes and obviously I don't like that bc it scares baby. Overall tho great product a million options on the way it swings and the music, the speed, and seat is comfortable. Plus we have a small 3 bedroom and it doesn't take up space!! I love that!!!

Our previous swing is over 5 years old and didn't have near as many fantastic features as this swing! Our baby loved it from the first time we put her in it! We have used at least 10 of the 16 different soothing settings and she likes them all! It has been great to have and keeps her comfortable and entertained when I need to get things done! The fabric is soft and the cushion for her body cradles her nicely! It has been very nice having the portion detach with just the rocker so I can easily bring the lighter piece into the kitchen with me when I'm cooking or baking. She seems to enjoy the swing whether she's rocking a bit or on the base and swinging in one of the 16 modes. The different modes and music are nice as the speeds, volume, and even the vibration of the seat all have more than one setting, so figuring out which one your baby likes is easier. It is smaller in size than our previous rocker, but still solid and stable! I appreciate that it doesn't take up too much space. The best part is it's two in one it comes off and becomes a bouncy seat as well. It's quiet when it swings back and forth and does the trick for my baby. It's so convenient that you can replace the parts as well. If I have a boy next I can order the boy inserts for it.

Options were SO limited back then, and I had done hours upon hours of research for a swing that I wanted to love. We ended up with something that was overpriced and not really used with 3 other babies. Though our 4th baby is our last, we will most certainly be keeping this piece in our home for future nieces and nephews to enjoy! What I love about this product: jam-packed with features without leaving a giant footprint. I think the problem with most items like baby swings is how much space they require. This left a minimal footprint. Neutral color options: another problem with baby gear is the aesthetic. I know it's not important to some people, but I'm picky and I really dislike when baby gear is in garish primary colors or funky patterns. You drop a significant amount of money on these things, and you want them to look good in your home! I liked that the fabric was soft to the touch, and felt "snuggly" for baby, especially the infant insert. Motion and speed control: at the end of the day, a rocker or swing has ONE job, to soothe your baby using gentle motion. I was impressed with the range of motion (especially with such a small base), and I liked that there was a large range of speed. I found this most useful when my baby would fall asleep, and we would turn the swing off, and she would start to fuss, so we would turn it on to a very low and gentle rock, and she'd go right back to sleep. The noise machine -- I loved that there was a white noise option. It helped drown out the noise of siblings and also parents on work calls or siblings that were eLearning. Lastly, I LOVED that the seat converts into a bouncer off the base. It's one less item to buy, and also saves the trouble of transferring a snuggled baby from one room to the next. This is especially valuable now as ALL of us are home at the same time, and the baby goes into the office of the parent that's not actively talking on a work call. She also loves hanging out in the bouncer when the whole family is in the same room and she's on the same level as her siblings who are playing on the floor. Things that were underwhelming: the toy bar. This is me just being picky, I feel like most toy bars on baby products are just an afterthought, but I can see where some babies focus on the toys and it helps them soothe. The music: just OK. I don't find the "tinny" sound of lullabies to be all that soothing, or all that beneficial. the white noise was WAY more valuable in my opinion. Overall, we really loved this swing/bouncer/rocker. Here are my thoughts in a simple Pros and Cons. The Pros • Favorite feature-Great foot print if you have limited space. • The padding is extremely soft and nice • The colors are neutral which is perfect! • Toys are cute and keep the baby engaged enough to calm down. • The motion is very soothing and it's great the chair itself can be rotated without needing to do too much. •The display is was easy to read with good back lighting, maybe too good. • Assembling is very easy. Cons • The power cord is rather short. So you have to keep the swing close to the wall. • The back lights are a bit bright if you're trying to keep the room dark. • You're unable to select the music or sounds without having to scroll through the whole menu. As well as it'll cycle through all the sounds. • The buckles and straps were oddly short. • You're unable to leave it on without it turning off after 4 hours. My over all impression of the Graco soothe my way swing is, it is very well made but still has much to be desired. I would recommend it for first time parents especially if you have limited space. For us it was great in some aspect and frustrating in others. Overall for us the Cons out weighed the Pros but that's not to say it wouldn't be the opposite for others.

The portable rocker allows us to have less pieces of equipment in our house and still have a place for baby in whatever room of the house we are in. He finds the padding comfortable and is content in it multiple times a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this swing when my daughter was only a month old. She was very hard to sooth and loved to be rocked. This swing kept her calm so I could tend to my 1 year old and my other children. I love that there are different speeds and it can be turned to swing front to back or side to side.

Really good swing and my baby loves it! Really good quality as well.
