We bought this pergola because it fit on our current cement slab perfectly. It looks very nice. My 2 sons and myself put it together in 5 hours but it would have gone faster if we did not have to take portions apart to retrieve socket screws that fell inside cross beams. They were a little short and it was hard to hold them in place and drill at the same time. We also noticed a dent in one of the posts when construction was complete. Not sure how we missed that. The shade is too small. It doesn't provide much protection from the sun. We get south and west sun. I would like to order a larger one but couldn't find them on this site.

When looking to add additional shade to our Florida home, we wanted something that offered shade, stability and was also aesthetically pleasing. We are very pleased with our decision to install this pergola. When we started to assemble the pieces we were surprised at the quality of the construction. It's been up a few months now and we love it.

I bought mine on April 11th and it was delivered only days later! I did hire someone to construct it for me which only took them 4 hrs. He even suggested it to another client who ended up ordering the cedar pergola! The entire process through Backyard Discovery was seamless! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of their products!

This pergola is sturdy and beautiful. My husband and a neighbor put it together in a day and it looks fantastic. The sunshade works wonderfully in this hot Alabama weather. I'm still waiting on him to instal the electrical panel, but I'm not surprised he always gets a job 99% done then gets bored and moves on! Insert eye roll here. Haha Don't hesitate it's worth the money!

We bought this pergola in early June. It arrived several days ahead of schedule with the 4 heavy boxes in perfect condition. We (with help from daughter, son-in-law and 4 grandchildren) assembled the pergola 2 days later. It went together perfectly, with excellent instructions. There were zero issues, took 3 1/2 hours and everyone had fun.

. design is so pretty and I am excited about the fact it will never rust, warp or change color): We just purchased this product and it far exceeds my expectation! I was nervous about going with metal versus wood, but the quality of the product is so much better than other steel pergolas I've seen that are made of aluminum or vinyl products. This product is 100% galvanized steel and is solid. Because it is made from high-quality galvanized steel I also don't have to worry about it ever rusting, warping, or fading. The fact that I will never have to seal or stain this pergola is a huge plus for me! This pergola also comes with a power port, which is so convenient since we plan to have a bar under it. I can mix up fun drinks with my blender and have my music going! There are both USB and electrical outlets. The traditional design of the pergola is perfect and all of the joints are hidden so there is no hardware sticking out! The assembly was very easy for my husband following the directions provided in the BILT app. If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would! I looked at this item for some time before adding to a new paver patio. Looking forward to adding furniture underneath to enjoy outdoor living. I was able to assemble by myself (except for standing posts). The four boxes were received with no damage and no issues with instructions or hardware. This pergola is very sturdy and so beautiful; love it!

We had a lovely grey wood pergola, built in 2005, that needed lots of paint and upkeep and it was finally beginning to rot at the base because we got our share of rain and snow in WA. My husband wanted this steel one and I was afraid the white steel would overwhelm the backyard, but it turned out to be just beautiful and will last forever with no upkeep!!
