Much better product than initially expected. All the parts were individually wrapped and labled. Instruction booklet was very detailed and easy to follow. Steel is very heavy and sturdy. Looked absolutely beautiful once fully assembled. Would recommend this item to anyone. Excellent customer service. Very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful pergola, Very high quality and outstanding value for the money. Countless compliments from friends and neighbors. Contruction was outsourced as it was a little too heavy/intimidating for us to try on our own. Took a crew of three about 8 hours to construct. Only disappointment was the sunshade, which does not cover the entire roof of the structure. The shade itself, however is very effective in blocking sun and a great appearance. Just wish it covered the entire roof and did not allow sun through the outer roof perimeter where the shade does not cover. I would recommend this structure without hesitation!

We absolutely love this pergola! From start to finish the whole process was great. Fast delivery, even quicker fix when there was a delivery issue. The clean design really brings life into our previously empty yard, it's our new favorite place to hang out. The instructions were easy to follow when putting it together, and the steel makes me comforted in knowing that it will stand the test of time.

Solid well made product. Installer mounted it in concrete footers on paver brick patio and commented on the good construction of the product. Looks great and included shade and box with electric and usb outlets a nice bonus. Have received many compliments about the pergola. Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

This was so straightforward of an installation for the most part. The only thing the instructions lacked was at which point to secure to our foundation. So we just did it when it felt right. We preassembled all the pieces that made sense prior to errecting. Since that was the most time consuming part of the whole thing. The installation took 2 people 4 hours total to complete. It looks AWESOME. We had 2 small setbacks, one missing bracket for the powerbox and one piece had some damage that basically wore the paint off a small fingernail size. The company promptly sent out a bracket and touch up paint.

We purchased this pergola in July. It took us, with the help of four friends (moats with some construction experience, but certainly no professionals), about four hours to assemble it. It was not hard at all with the help of the app. We are loving it so far! We have furniture, but still need to jazz it up a bit with some pillows, plants and outdoor lighting. It has added a calm space in which to hang out in our backyard. Can't wait for the fall weather when we will be able to enjoy it even more.

We set up this pergola a month ago and added a simple shade cloth pergola cover. It's perfect! Looks great and now provides a lot of shade. It was relatively easy for my husband and brother in law to put together with only one issue with the instructions where one of the pictures wasn't clear but didn't cause too much of a problem.

Love this Pergola. It looks very nice and is very sturdy. We put this together on two separate days. For a total of 11ish hours. The directions along with the Bilt site were easy to follow. The hardest part for us was attaching it to our concrete patio because it had to be spot on. We live in Oklahoma were it can be very windy so this was necessary for us. We used 1/2 inch concrete screws which require perfect alignment on all for screws on all four corners. We would recommend using 3/8 inch screws to allow a little leeway for screw alignment. Other than that it went very smooth and we have already had many compliments on the Pergola.

Absolutely perfect addition to our backyard. Fairly easy to put together with three people. Seems to be made of good quality materials. I'm very excited to see how this holds up over the next few years. My only complaint is that the sail shade that goes on the top does not stay in the clips very well, so we had to rig our own method of holding it on.

We've had the Stratford steel pergola for a month and like the look and features. The steel frame stands up well in high winds and the the electric hookup is perfect for connecting to string lights. The canopy shades well, but doesn't stay tight in winds over 5 mph. There are only four corner straps to attach it and it would be much better if it had four more tie downs at the midpoint between each corner. The corner straps do not have a good mechanism to hold them tight, so the strap loosens on the buckle even in light wind. The pergola should have low maintenance since it is painted steel which is a top feature for us.
