Couldn't be happier with our steel pergola! It looks so pretty! We added white metal roofing, so we could enjoy the sound of the rain..awesome! Every screw & bolt was there & fit just as it should! Love it! Thank you for such a high quality product at such a reasonable price!

Solid well made product. Installer mounted it in concrete footers on paver brick patio and commented on the good construction of the product. Looks great and included shade and box with electric and usb outlets a nice bonus. Have received many compliments about the pergola. Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Beautiful pergola, Very high quality and outstanding value for the money. Countless compliments from friends and neighbors. Contruction was outsourced as it was a little too heavy/intimidating for us to try on our own. Took a crew of three about 8 hours to construct. Only disappointment was the sunshade, which does not cover the entire roof of the structure. The shade itself, however is very effective in blocking sun and a great appearance. Just wish it covered the entire roof and did not allow sun through the outer roof perimeter where the shade does not cover. I would recommend this structure without hesitation!

THIS PERGOLA IS AWESOME!! I was a kind of nervous to begin because of the 4 boxes, and intricate design . We watched the 3-D video, very helpful, and I was feeling a bit more confident. It's really very well built. Here in AZ we have wind!! So we've attached it to pavers with cement under. It was a breeze to put together, my husband and I did most of it, but neighbors that stopped by were very happy to hold uprights while we screwed on the braces. We talked too much to say just how long it actually took us to put it together!! I defiantly would recommend this white steel pergola! It's not going anywhere...and will hold up nicely in the summer heat. Thank You for such a great product with clear instructions

Purchased a month ago and put it up in one day. I had the help of two others which made the process much easier. The suggestion of separating the pieces into groups was definitely helpful. \The sun shade, which many people had complained about previously, was updated to have belts and clips instead of retaining clips. Connecting it was easy and it makes a big difference when sitting outside. Wish I could have bought one that was 18'.

I was skeptical when I saw so many great reviews, but loved the look of the pergola. Let me tell you, this is the real deal. The reviews are amazing because the product is amazing. The whole process was a dream. The pergola arrived about 3 weeks after placing the order. It came in 4 heavy boxes. The boxes are packed so perfectly, each beam is individually wrapped and on each bag is an ID tag. We unpacked each box and laid everything out according to it's ID which made the process much faster. Then put together all of the horizontal beams (not exactly how the instructions are laid out) but it made it a lot easier in the long run. Once all the beams were put together we started to construct the four posts. As most have pointed out, it's much easier to have three people when putting the four posts together with the cross beams. My wife and I did it with the just the two of us, but it was very difficult. We used a ladder to hold one beam up while my wife held a post up and I connected the first few beams. Once you have three post connected it goes much easier. I'm still amazed at how well laid out the instructions are as well as the all the parts. Everything fit perfectly together. No parts were missing, all beams fit together without issue. In the end it took us about 8 hours spread over two days. The pergola is simply the beauitful and Backyard Discovery knows how to make a great product. The wait for this product is worth it. Don't try another pergola just because this is always out of stock. We wait 6 months before one day I saw it was in stock and ordered it immediately. I'm so happy we did! You're going to love it.

I bought this about two months ago. It arrived sooner than what they said it would. Durable and great quality material. Took a while to put it together. Make sure you read through all the instructions before beginning to assemble. Also, don't screw in the screws too tight until you get them all in. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product. Very sturdy. As per prior comments, the shade is not very sturdy and in the hot central valley of California, it will probably not last more than the 2 years indicated in the paperwork. Also it does not fully cover the top, however sufficient for the time being. Have not yet attached the power pack but based on the quality of the pergola, would not expect it to be anything but very good.

Everyone asks "Where did you get this?" We love this and I didn't realize how much it would add to our patio. It has created a poolside dining area with just the right amount of shade. I have a large round table that seats 8-10 people. There is plenty of room and I put a 10x10 outdoor rug under it. The electrical feature is perfect for plugging in blenders or phones. It is extremely heavy and well built. My husband and one helper put it up but could of used an extra hand! Delivery was easy and all parts were included in 4 boxes. Assembly directions were self explanatory.

We set up this pergola a month ago and added a simple shade cloth pergola cover. It's perfect! Looks great and now provides a lot of shade. It was relatively easy for my husband and brother in law to put together with only one issue with the instructions where one of the pictures wasn't clear but didn't cause too much of a problem.
