Looks absolutely amazing on our patio! Assembly with BILT app was remarkably simple, but of course time consuming (put together by 3 people over the course of 2 days). No missing parts, everything fit together perfectly, no misaligned holes or stripped screws. Arrives in 4 long boxes (approximately 150-200 pounds each), very manageable for 2 people. So far, we are very satisfied with this purchase and very hopeful it will stand the test of time. Satin black finish looks great and seems durable, and this provides more shade than expected. Love the included power strip as well, nice touch. Overall, this pergola exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be more pleased.

Love my new pergola. This is a quality product and the directions are easy enough to follow. It well built and not flimsy. I would recommend highly to anyone looking at one. The one draw back is the sun shade. It does not cover the entire top. It also has terrible tension tightening buckles. They need to come up with a better product for the shade.

. design is so pretty and I am excited about the fact it will never rust, warp or change color): We just purchased this product and it far exceeds my expectation! I was nervous about going with metal versus wood, but the quality of the product is so much better than other steel pergolas I've seen that are made of aluminum or vinyl products. This product is 100% galvanized steel and is solid. Because it is made from high-quality galvanized steel I also don't have to worry about it ever rusting, warping, or fading. The fact that I will never have to seal or stain this pergola is a huge plus for me! This pergola also comes with a power port, which is so convenient since we plan to have a bar under it. I can mix up fun drinks with my blender and have my music going! There are both USB and electrical outlets. The traditional design of the pergola is perfect and all of the joints are hidden so there is no hardware sticking out! The assembly was very easy for my husband following the directions provided in the BILT app. If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would! Purchased the white steel pergola. Assembled over a weekend. All parts fit together perfectly, great instructions. Really looks like and is very durable. Put it up last fall, have had numerous storms since then, still looking really nice. Very happy with this product. Nice to buy a product that really is all it says it is. Will enjoy for many years.

We bought this pergola for our lower level patio last summer. We wanted something to match our new home, and considered getting a cedar pergola since we have cedar trim on the ground level porch that sits above it. We decided on this one because it will be much less maintenance than cedar, and is still a great match to the house. We love it. My husband and I assembled it ourselves. If I am being 100% honest, the instructions were not great. Part of my job was writing instructions, and I would have added a lot more helpful detail that would avoid mistakes and backtracking. Regardless, we still love the pergola.

We purchased this pergola in July. It took us, with the help of four friends (moats with some construction experience, but certainly no professionals), about four hours to assemble it. It was not hard at all with the help of the app. We are loving it so far! We have furniture, but still need to jazz it up a bit with some pillows, plants and outdoor lighting. It has added a calm space in which to hang out in our backyard. Can't wait for the fall weather when we will be able to enjoy it even more.

Great purchase. Straightforward to put together; however would recommend having 2 people to assemble all the beams and then 4-5 people to hold/bolt together the frame. After that step, the rest goes pretty quickly (even faster with 2 people and 2 ladders). Still looks great after nearly a year of use. Highly recommend.

We purchased this pergola to place on our deck for some filtered shade. Everything about this product went smoothly, including delivery and assembly. Definitely recommend having at least 4 people available during assembly - although much of the assembly can be done ahead of time with 1 or 2 people.

I bought mine on April 11th and it was delivered only days later! I did hire someone to construct it for me which only took them 4 hrs. He even suggested it to another client who ended up ordering the cedar pergola! The entire process through Backyard Discovery was seamless! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of their products!
