The user interface on this television is incredibly smooth, highly intuitive, and very easy to navigate right out of the box. The screen is too busy, it has too many channels on the screen and they are on the small side. I like my daughter's TCL and her Hisense. They are more simpler to work and I find the remote complicated. Also for some reason it takes longer to connect than the other TVs in the house. The set up initial was on the complicated side.

At age 80, my hearing isn't the best, but I don't require aids yet. I bought a new Samsung 36 tv and what a difference it is in clarity of sound. I expected the brightness and contrast to be better but the sound surprised me. The only thing I could offer is to put the speaker in the front of the tv. It makes sense to have the sound directed towards the viewer. I chose Samsung based off of reviews of others. I was surprised how easy it was to set up considering my husband is deceased and no longer my tech support. I'm glad there's a company who understands we're not all computer geeks.

Our family loves Samsung products! They only reason I gave it three stars, Is because the close captioning text size or font size is not the best size for me. And I imagine it it would be frustrating for many many others. It actually needs a size in between The large in the extra large. I don't remember exactly right now or it's the small to the large. It's either way too big or way too small. And when you have to use it every single day, that is really frustrating. The smallness is too hard to read and then whichever one I think is next then it takes up too much of the picture. But other than that, the resolution and the color is great. It's not fun to have to use CC, but if it's not the right size, it affects everything.

This TV has a wonderful picture. It also has lots of free viewing options. What I REALLY like is having the numbers on the remote! If you're used to using a ROKU tv, this take a little bit of getting used to as some things are a little different. I would and have highly recommend this TV.
