Very easy learning curve operating the Segway nine bot 2 . My wife and I are both 67 we had no problem riding it. The app easy to use and gives all the information regarding yournine bot 2.. Wheels are large enough to travel over small objects on the road or sidewalks. Our children ages 31 to 37 thought we were crazy. But they all jump on them and have fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Segway and so far it's the smoothest running and was easy to set up. The highlight is the Bluetooth speaker so I can play my music. I also have better control over the device using the app. I'm a high school student and theft is a major concern but I can lock the device so no one has access to to it but me.

She acts her age and I do not!!! The company has been moderately easy to return the item. I understand. They probably have a lot of people that don't give it a good shot. They want us practice a little bit more. That's my two cents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within 3 weeks of owning it I accidentally bumped into a wall but not very aggressively and the shaft clamp on the inside was broken upon opening up the Segway S2 I contacted Segway they told me it was out of warranty and then the parts weren't even in stock for me to fix it. I went back and forth with about five phone calls. If I wasn't able to buy parts to fix this I would have never gotten it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is terrible for bumpy conditions. The slow down feature nearly kills me every time. It decides I am going too fast (often when I'm going very slow) and pulls back against me. Why can't it just slow down? Why does it need to tilt back? It isn't safer for it to tilt back it just creates a lack of control and throws you off it. Often going over bumps (which is sketchy on its own) it will jolt enough to make it think I am going too fast. When it decides you are going to fast it doesnt just make you slow down either, it literally requires you to go to almost a complete stop before it stops pulling backward, it is so annoying. Going downhill also seems to make it think I am going faster than I actually am, I've had it stop over and over again when I was going less than 5 mph (I was literally going slower than the people walking next to me). If you fall off, say goodbye. This thing just keeps going completely on its own. When it rides well it is really satisfying. The range is good. It is really easy to control around other people.
